Those new figures look great. Those 3 unknowns, those will fit nicely into the Joeverse and let us make 3 new figures.

He's got the Roc Joe Shield on his hat.
Awesome figure no matter what.

I'm overlooking it on a lot of RoC figures.
God I'm hoping that Red Vested guy is Barrell Roll. He looks awesome.

I was looking forward to being able to save some money on Joes this summer.
Nope, not gonna happen. I haven't seen a single one of those that I don't want. Some I could pass on, but wouldn't disappoint me to have all of 'em. Even that funky looking female.

Hey Zulu, thought of a way you might be able to use the Renegades, an "off the books" sabotage squad. Their convention figures aren't bad. Got rid of the goofy colors and gave 'em a uniform look, gone is Red Dog's football jersey. Wouldn't be too hard to replace the armor parts of 'em with a camo pattern.

Still, Red Dog is at least a definite upgrade from the original (at least we can't see his football cleats and the weird girdle/suspenders combo in this version), |

I'm also reposting links to the organizational diagrams I posted previously, as well as a screenie of the text file for the COmmand Element. The pics are all temporary, and I'll be updating them as well as the ranks when I finish making all the updated digitalimages of the 1982-1988 Joes: Command Element organizational structure (text only) Direct Action Element organizational structure Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Element organizational structure Combined Support Element organizational structure (updated) On your file cards do you have a file for each of the characters made? if so where are they... I like how you set up their weapons/equipment/vehicle qualifications you mind if I barrow this? and also you got alot more info on military programs and courses then I do you mind if I barrow some of that too? |

Here's one of the less popular Joes (click on the picture to view the filecard):
Decided to make him a Marine, since the USMC is the primary user of the MGL (multi-shot grenade launcher). Always thought that the sports jersey Joes kind of looked goofy (Bazooka, Red Dog, Hardball, Capt. Grid-Iron-- ugh! -- ) but taking away that element would be straying too far from the original design in my opinion. Best I could manage was to make it more relevant to the original character (I gave him a Syracuse Chiefs jersey... it did mention in his old filecard that he played in the minor leagues, and he is from central New York state). Also, here's an updated Leatherneck file card... I want to make him a bit more special operations oriented, but at the same time, I didn't want to make him a reconnaissance marine and be a duplicate of Gung-Ho: Leatherneck filecard (updated) I'm also reposting links to the organizational diagrams I posted previously, as well as a screenie of the text file for the COmmand Element. So far, most of the filecards I've made have been posted in this thread. I don't have them organized or posted anywhere else at the moment, so this is the best place to read up on them for now if you're interested. Quote:

Wow that is an amazing job of creating a very cool looking Hardball and I am totally impressed with the detail of a modern version of him looking to blast some lame ass cobra force!! Props for making him a marine as well as Oliver has discussed before that there is a lack of marine characters on the Joe team!!
