It's a clone trooper head. I figure it's very polynesian looking. It doesn't fit too well, since the ball joint is bigger on the clone troopers. I don't know what to do about that. I wanted a non swimsuit wet-suit too. I was going to take a Duke head color the hair brown and slap it on a Tiger Force Flint.
Now I just have to find a body I like.

Well, since it seems like it'll be a while before I finish updating all the images and making sure all the information is up-to-date on my GI Joe reference bible, here's a link to the PDF version (text only) of the Cobra Reference Bible I wrote for a licensing pitch several years back:
Cobra Reference Bible (181 Kb, download via Sendspace) It's 38 pages long (it would have been over 100 pages if I'd included the images) and includes a brief history of Cobra, a partial look at Cobra's corporate structure, equipment listings, and personnel files. The whole idea behind the re-conceptualization of Cobra is that it's a private military consulting firm with associated interests in property development and weapons research and importation/exportation (this was originally written before Blackwater/Xe rising to prominence, mind you). I wanted to make Cobra a corporate entity grounded in the cutthroat world of war profiteering and "disaster capitalism," which would occasionally put them at odds or allied with the GI Joe team, depending on who's contracting them at the time (Cobra lists the US State Department as one of their clients), an overtly simplified but, in my mind, appropriate metaphor of the relationship between government and private military firms. If any of you guys get around to reading it, let me know what you think. Nice revisioning of Cobra. I'll read it tongiht when get home. I'll have to put up how I'd redo Cobra. I reimagined Joe as a smaller more covert and quick-action unit (no armor or artillery, 50 people max). And the new Cobra is a shadowy organization that has it's hands into everything in the world. There's no standing army, but guys like Major Bludd are "contracted" out to help local groups organize/train and lead on missions and once CC's goals have been realized (and what those goals are is a huge mystery), then Bludd (or whoever) would up and leave. CC's also been known to set two groups against eachother. It seems like he just wants pure chaos in the world (better to help his arms market) but there's more to it then that.

I use Claymore as my OIC of Intel, which falls under G-SOC. General Colton is the overall commander of G-SOC LTC Sky Striker Commands G-SOC Air Command Commander Magnum Commands G-SOC Naval Forces LTC Sure Fire Commands G-SOC Army Forces Major Claymore Commands Joe Intelligence (GIA). The Sub Teams fall under different Commands... Slaughter's Marauders and SEALs fall under G-SOC Naval Command. Tiger Force, Sky Patrol, Desert Patrol Squad, and Steel Brigade all fall under G-SOC Army Command. All the Aircraft falls under G-SOC Air Command. Night Force, SWAT Team, and Ghost Squad, the Renegades, and all other Intel Operatives is under the Command of the G.I. Joe Intelligence Activity (GIA)... and for obvious reasons Claymore and Intel have a very close and working/tasking relationship with all of G-SOC.

I agree. V1 & 5 are ok but i don't like the goggles on one and five is wrong because of the beard and hair color change. Closest to perfect for me is V6 but thats just a repaint of Chief Torpedo and i dont like that body sculpt. Oh, if only i ran Hasbro.
1. Troy would get his "real" SEAL team 2. Oliver would get his southern Marine officer(s) 3. new characters would be created instead of renaming old ones 4. sculpts would go back to o-rings & screws (thats for me, whats the use of running a toy company if you cant make toys you want?) 5. i would hire you guys as a consortium to write the file cards

Yeah, I would invest my money if I got that job too. Right now is sort of a good time ot invest your money. It may be risky, but it should be done.

Since I have been so pleased with the True Heroes Boat, I've been looking at some of their other toys. Yesterday I picked up thier SWAT van. I figured it would be great for the Joe SWAT unit. I'm very pleased. The True Heroes figures are all crap, but some of their vehicles are really good.

I keep seeing that True Heroes Missile Truck, the big rig with the missile on the trailer. I keep wanting to pick it up.
Where are the pics of the boat Oliver?

Yeah, I hated the True Figures too. I think they were the worst ones ever.

I'd take the missile off and use the trailer to transport some Skyhawks.
