The typical 6-man is:
Squad Leader (Stalker) EOD (Mercer) Sniper (Low-Light) Weapons (Repeater) Control (Bombstrike) Point (Spirit) Team 1 is Duke (can't remember off top of my head) Scarlett Roadblock Airstrike (custom Combat Controller) Spearhead Teams 3 and 4 are the "dirty" squads. They don't follow the typical set-up. With all the Joes available, I can get up to 2 more full 6-man squads like Teams 1 and 2. It's the Controller position that's lacking. Team 3 is led by Sgt. Stone (the RoC character) and Team 4 is led by Flint. Flint is overall of all Delta Teams (the direct action teams). Duke is Sargeant Major of all the Joes (I'm thinking of promoting Grunt to Sgt.-Maj. as well, the Alpha Team needs one). Team 5 is Barrell Roll's squad. They're another special unit like 3 and 4, but only 4-man where the rest are all 6. Then there's Team 6 (the LRRP unit, 4-man), the SEaL unit, the Marine Force Recon unit (4-man), the VBSS unit and the SWAT unit.

I figure that thing is a 3 shots and you're done. Once the battle's over they may reload it but I can't see the joes doing any of that on the battle field. Like Fighter planes for example, Once all the payload is dropped they need to head home. I figure Hawk lost his a long time ago. As a kid I loved that thing, but Did it ever make it into the comics?
I was never a fan of the "one and done" kind of weapons, like the MMS. Like the Cobra IMP, it fires it's missiles and lays the mines, then it needs to get the hell out of there. For a short battle it's okay, but anything long term it needs to be able to be reloaded. And that's where my supply/support unit comes in. Too bad it's not finished yet.

I'm only aware of one, and even that was only briefly: issue #8. The MOBAT is towing it and it's destroyed right after the HAL, without ever launching a missile. One of the few non-Hama written issues.

Stalker Mercer Gung-Ho Beachhead Altitude But I think any of the E-8 Master Sgts would work well as 6 man team leaders. I think that most of the Joes Field Communications guys would be better served as Air Combat Controllers, since that is more in line with how many of today's Special Ops forces operate. So Dial-Tone is the perfect example. But Recoil would serve better. And Breaker. I've been meaning to paint the berets of One of my Stalkers red and call him Jammer, from Action Force. He would make an Ideal ACC, and I have so many extra Stalkers. |

And what does the Warthog do after launching the 2 missiles? Good thing it's heavily armored. It needs a machine gun of some kind as well.

Recoil is part of the LRRP unit.

The Book I read about the Delta's and their hunt for Bin Laden, has some of the members who have been trained to call in air Strikes. They were almost as good as the Combat Controllers that were attached with the Squadron. The Team Leaders have the ability to get their guys trained in whatever they think may be appropriate. So where one team leader had a motorcross bike rider come and give them lessons, one team leader got his team trained on Combat Control missions. |

Didn't it come with a mounted machine gun? My memory's a little spotty, but I'm pretty sure there was one attached to one of the manned stations.
