Yeah! And that generic Black Beret is no help at all. Would it kill Hasbro to give the Special Forces guys Green Berets? Would it kill them to give the SAS guys Tan Berets? Is it really so hard for them to keep the beret colors straight? It's not that hard...
Green: U.S. Army Special Forces, UK Royal Marines Tan: U.S. Army Rangers, UK SAS Maroon: U.S. Airborne Units, UK Paratroopers Black: Regular U.S. Army... used to be U.S. Army Rangers. It's not that hard. Stone as an SAS works great. I think an international Spec Ops trainer would be foreign. No offense to the US Spec Ops guys, but I don't see them as being as familiar with foreign tactics. I think Spec Ops like SAS work more closely with other foreign units.

It's weird, I brought the subject of Low-Light up in another thread and there were some Low-Light haters in there. I was shocked. May be I'm crazy; I thought everybody loved Low-Light. I've never met anyone who didn't like Low-Light. One guys was saying that Lifeline was cooler than Low-Light. I was like, "Hey, I got nothing against Lifeline, but c'mon... over Low-Light?!" I mean... any Special Operations unit need a sniper. And Low-Light is the coolest of the Snipers. Am I wrong here, guys? Do y'all know anyone who thinks Low-Light sucks? I'm not saying he has to be your all time favorite Joe, but if you were to make a list of your top 20 Joes - which is roughly 10% of the entire Joe roster - wouldn't you have Low-Light in your top 20? I know I would.

I think in this case the black is just the Joe force beret (it does have the Joe shield on it). Hawk has a black one as well.

I think Spec Ops like SAS work more closely with other foreign units. There's a very strong case to be made that the UK's SAS may be the absolute best Special Operations Force in the World. It's hard to argue against it. Every Elite unit compares itself to the British SAS.

Speaking of Low Light, I just picked up some 21st Century Humvees that included two figures and a bunch of accessories. Among the accessories was a cap that looks just like Low Light's, so if anyone wants to make a custom and needs a hat, check here - the Humvee, 2 figures and a bunch of accessories are only $10 + shipping.

It's a fair point. The same with the lack of Marines, Air Force Special Ops, and Coast Guard Rescue Divers.
Speaking of Joe Naval Forces, I recently made a custom Boat for the Joes out of the "True Heroes Navy SEAL Boat" from TRU... it turned out really well. I'll try to get some pictures soon.

He is also one of the coolest, most iconic figures they ever made... that watch cap and those goggles with the grey jump suit. Awesome.

He's in my Top 20 for sure.
I'd say the SAS is the toughest Spec Ops unit in the world.

That's all I'm saying. He may not be everyone's very favorite like Snake-Eyes or Flint or whoever, but I've just never met fans who disliked Low-Light. If I'm putting a team of Joes together for a mission, I'm going to include a sniper: 10 to 12 Joes... Low-Light's going to be one of them. Plus now that Larry Hama has confirmed that he's Like Delta or CIA - his stock has gone WAY up in my book.
He is also one of the coolest, most iconic figures they ever made... that watch cap and those goggles with the grey jump suit. Awesome.
