That's where I'd be, the "yet" part, lol.
There's alot I'd need to get. My vintage collection is very small compared to you guys. Nothing between Big Ben (and only very few from '87 to '91) to the VvV single carded 2005 that you could get at the doller store (Dusty, Baroness, Kamakura, Storm Shadow, Televiper, Sandviper, Snake-Eyes, Stalker and Ace - the ones that they rereleased on the new cards with no weapons this year). And the ones I've gotten in the 25th line. |

Dino-Hunter Lowlight on the 2000 Leatherneck is now Marine LAV crewman, to drive my other Warthog.
Claymore on that 2000 Duke just to get rid of the Yellow. Tundra Stalker with Alpine arms on Sonic LAW is Hollingsworth. (He's my overall Arctic Commander. Not the best figure but I get to use him.) Bazooka head on HawkV2 body on LAW legs = Austin |

A NF Repeater head on Footloose to make my Sgt Carlos "White Feather" Hathcock figure. And for additional 'Nam grunts--Outback head on Footloose and Hawk v2 head on Footloose with Footloose helmet. A Mirage head on Low-Light to make a third team sniper to go with Low-Light and Stalker. Claymore's head with Footloose helmet on Falcon looks awesome! |

Aside from me just wanting a Footloose, I'm actually kind of suprised Hasbro hasn't done it, given that he'd be a pretty easy kit bash with existing parts.

I think they're saving Footloose and Low-Light for when the Modern Era line makes its triumphant return next year after the movie stuff has died down.
What better way to get people back in? Give 'em 2 of the most requested figures. I'm thinking we'll see classic Cover Girl and Dial-Tone then as well.

I never would have thought of those.

I'm surprised there's only been 1 african american Cobra Trooper and it's hard to troop build and kitbash with the one they've released.

So what are some of the cool but simple head swaps you've done to make new characters or different versions of the same character.
I put an Outback head on a Big Brawler body to make another light infantryman for jungle ops, but he's still Outback. I put a Battle Corp Stalker head (with the knit hat) on a Low-Light body to make a spotter/observer named Longshot to team up with Low-Light. I also put a Psyche-Out head on a night force Short-Fuze body to make a combat version of Psyche-Out. I want to put a female Doc head on convention Lady Jaye's body (once I can find one) to make Shooter, but I will need to paint the body. |
