Yeah, Scarlett lands her parachute on him at the end of issue #10, as I recall.

True. I'd put him in that 11/15 range with the tank drivers.

Rock & Roll was the original strong Joe... was the Venice Beach, Surfer/Weight lifter on the team. Then Roadblock shows up, and it's Rock & Roll who comments about how strong he would have to be to operate his machine gun with his bare hands. I think that's sort of the passing of the "Strong Man" torch. I'd still put him in the Top 10... with Grid-Iron ;)

So the older filecards are great, they list what military schools the various Joes went to. Later filecards, not so much. But some interesting/fun information can still be learned from reading them.
What fun/interesting/strange things have you learned from reading the filecards? 1 - Scarlett is a sniper. She attended and graduated the Marine Sniper School. That's pretty cool. Makes her even more of a bad-ass. I've ordered up a sniper rifle from marauders for her. Until, and maybe even after, we get a Low-Light or Cross Hair, Scarlett is my sniper. 2 - Mutt is a jungle trooper. He attended and graduated Jungle Warfare Training (was even a teacher there). To get to Jungle Warfare Training you have to be a Ranger. So Mutt is a Ranger and as the same qualifications as Recondo. That just begs for a Tiger Force Mutt. So Mutt is much more then a Dog Handler. |

Other guys we're not considering. Maj Barrage is probably a beast. as is Checkpoint. Horrowshow and possibly Big Bear are large men. Copperhead was the first really big guy. Also might add Salvo, Mercer, Stretcher (Olympic weight lifter), and Roddy Rod.

Bazooka's a big dude. Maybe Outback.
And I have to say, this is the most amount of time I've ever spent talking about large men. Can we talk about chicks for awhile? That Lady Jaye sure is hot, huh fellas. |

Nice work, Loose Cannon. Excellent points. Good catch on Stretcher. One question: other than his arms being muscular, why Mercer? Why do you think he's particularly strong?

I would have to say that Flint and Snake-Eyes were both crazy... Cover Girl was a Super Model who could work on engines. How awesome is that? I'd have been spending a lot more time down in the Motor pool... but that's just me.
