Ah man, you have an Urzor too! You and oliverbox are lucky b@#$ards! There's one on ebay now for $300. No way am I'm paying that, but this figure would be perfect for my jungle warfare squad.

Ok, I've seen some poorly written file cards but Skystriker's (to use his writer's expression) "takes the cake."
Excerpt: "This man was born to fly! I saw Skystriker pull off a double-looped nose dive in front of two enenmy fighters, then shoot them down before they could pick him up on their radar scopes! It was unbelievable! When it comes to combat acrobatics, this 'fly-boy' takes the cake!" Aside from the "born to fly," "fly-boy," and "takes the cake" cliches, not to mention the overuse of exclamation points, I'm not even sure what a double-looped nose dive is. Did the writer mean a split S? And how can a nose dive be looped? Either he's diving toward the ground or he's in a loop, which is it? And of course he's able to shoot down two aircraft while somehow managing to stealthily disappear from all radar screens. But at least the writer got one thing right: it is unbelievable. You know, Hama may have had his own cheesy ideas from time to time, but he knew something about military tactics and he usually created interesting characters with real quirks or peccadillos. I know I'm taking a risk by assuming that this file card probably wasn't written by Hama (although he wrote most of them) or perhaps there was some outside influence if he did, but that paragraph is just hackneyed drivel. That last paragragh is just silly. Who buys into that crap? At least Skystriker is an Air Force guy. Why did they enlist guys like Scoop or Hardball or DeeJay or Budo?

Ah so this is the prototype for Action Man. Very cool. I like your version the best. I wonder why they changed him from this version? Is there any ARAH figure that you don't have? Except for Retaguarda and some of the international ones, that is. This is an impressive figure. Probably cost a fortune to hunt down.
So I waited, and waited, and waited... I thought, surely they'll make a version 2 of Tracker. But they never did. I had read about this figure online. There were only about 10 or so of these prototype sets made. When I finally found one on ebay, I jumped on it. It wasn't cheap, but it's the pride of my collection. I don't own all the ARAH figures. I don't have a lot of Star Brigade. I never did the Eco Warriors, I never got into Mega Marines... and there's tons of Cobras that I missed because - well, as I kid, I just liked Joe better. I can say that I now have most all of the ones I want. I'm not a total completest. But I am much more serious about Cobra Troop building now. Glad you liked the figure.

I'm debating. The only figure in the cobra pack that I want is Baroness. I also want the Viper with chrome face plate but I can get him separately from the Heroes collection. As for the Joe set, I can get an updated Flint from the Heroes line as well. I am interested in the Resolute pack but haven't seen any around here yet.

I wonder if Hama knew who these guys were suppose to be? I mean I figure every Joe from Rhode Island is a Hasbro employee tribute figure. Maybe these people wrote there own stuff. And Larry never used the subteam stuff did he, except Pythonized. I missed a few comics during that period so I can't say for certain.

I bought the Joe Pack because I wanted a new Flint, and since I didn't have a Lady Jaye yet I said why not. I'm sure I'll never see the Hall of Heros stuff in the Store, so those are like $15 online somewhere with shipping. I'd love the Chrome Viper, but I don't need another one of any of those figures in the Cobra pack. I ordered a Resolute pack, because I can pretend Duke is another character, and I get three troops and of course one more CC to basically throw away, but Hasbro likes to screw us. I try to use the helmut commanders as Actual field commanders and one Hooded CC as King Cobra (Same Cobra Commander new title).
