The 7-packs look great. I'm very glad we are getting these.

I agree. But do you think the basic team should be organized like the Special Forces? In other words, each team has the equivalent of a Special Forces Officer or Warrant Officer as the team leader, followed by an Operations or Assistant Operations and Intelligence Sergeant, a Weapons Sergeant, an Engineering Sergeant, a Medical Sergeant, and a Communications Sergeant.
Communications Medic Combat Engineer/EOD and so on.

Yeah, ton of figures that I want.
I'm avoiding the toyfair thread. Just don't want to deal with the negativity.

Are there any Joes that didnt have signifigant military training prior to their Joe status? Perhaps some of the Ninja Force guys? Hama-Lore would suggest that all the Joes worked there way up the military ranks. Marvel comics and my curiosity make me think there may be a few that slipped through the cracks?

Well, it's true that the sgts aren't in charge of anyone, but those are the usual ranks of SF units. Most everyone is at least an NCO in the Special Forces and the assistant team leader of a six-man team is typically a SFC or MSG. However, many of the Joes are E4s, so I don't treat all of them as Special Forces. I still like creating full squads led by an E6 with two E5s as Team Leaders whenever I can.

I am ecstatic about the 7 packs! They look fantastic. And the way they've revamped/recolored Chuckles is awesome. He's much more tactical, while still paying homage to the original figure - awesome.
Outback looks great, and his assault vest is awesome. I can't wait to see Recondo's hat. Did they just change Ripcord to Altitude because of the movie? weird. The Cobra 7 pack looks even better... I don't know what these packs will cost, but I would really like to stock up on the Cobra pack. Range Viper and Alley Viper have been two of my very favorites for a long time. Very impressive. Also, the new PIT looks impressive to me. I think it could be a really interesting moving HQ similar to the Mobile Command Center or The General. I'm very excited to see more... speaking of which, I've always thought of the Rolling Thunder and the Thunder Clap as the mobile HQ of the Joe Artillery. I figure Major Barrage would work out of a TOC in the Rolling Thunder.

Altitude doesn't even look like his Sky Patrol outfit either. Looks closer to Freefall.
Yeah, I actually like this Chuckles. Would have loved to have seen all the gear, but so far they are looking awesome. Can't wait. And what a way to release the Cobra Troopers. Makes troop building so much easier. Too bad get stuck with Mindbender. Never liked that guy.

I also really want to see Wet-Suit's gear. Why Zap? We coul have had Claymore! Mindbender! Tank Top Cape!!! LOL
