It always seemed odd to me that the HISS drivers were lt. colonels. That seems a little too high ranking for a vehicle driver. And would that make Rip-It a general? Or maybe something equivalent to a field marshall?

I agree. I think Rip-It should be a Lt Colonel, and the rest various NCOs

I always forget Rip-It, Skullbuster and Neurotoxin. Probably because they were after my time and before my time (in the period I didn't collect Joes).
But they fit the bill of Cobra Mission Officers. Blackout as well. But I see him more as CC's personal errand boy.

Munitions
Armorer/Weapons Expert Filename: William Raymond "Billy Ray" Johnson (Oliver, what's a good southern name?) PMS: Weapons Expert SMS: Infantry (help..) Rank: Lt or Capt Munitions always had a healthy and respectful fascination with weapons of all kinds. He spent all of his spare time at the local rifle range, hunting or just shooting in his backyard. It wasn't the power or deadliness that he liked, it was always the inner workings and operations of weapons that fascinated him. He went to college and got an engineering degree (does M.I.T. have an ROTC program?) thru an ROTC program. He turned down multiple offers from weapon developers and manufacturerers, one of them even thought to be Destro's M.A.R.S. corp, to join the Army. He felt that if the Armed Forces were the ones that used the various weapons, then it should be the Armed Forces that know how they work and make new ones. Graduated Ranger School and was tapped for Special Forces and the Delta Program, where his intimate and developing knowledge of all weaponry came in handy. Munitions was wounded during a classified mission, he now walks with a noticable limp, and was no longer field capable. He would have been stuck behind a desk in weapons R&D if Hawk hadn't found him and tapped him for the G.I. Joe team, where he now serves as the team armorer and weapons developer. Currently attending night classes to earn a degree in Laser Technology. Familiar with all NATO, Russian, Chinease and MARS hand and vehicular mounted weapons. "There isn't anything that Munitions doesn't know about guns, and he's still learning. Every member of the team knows that Munitions will not let a gun out of the armory unless it will work perfectly everytime it's fired." "Billy Ray" is a fine Southern name, but if you want to be intentinally Southern "Billy" may not be the best choice... try "Johnny" or if you want a double name, "John Daniel". You may also want to reconsider his rank. If he's the guy who actually works on the weapons - and we're talking guns here - he would probably be a Warrant Officer, if he's an technical expert armorer. The Joe team is small enough for a Warrant Officer to be the armorer. And M.I.T. does have R.O.T.C. if you still want to go that route, but nothing says that having a degree from M.I.T. means he has to be an officer - Mainframe and Tollbooth are classic examples.

Post the pics of the customs you guys won. Would like to see 'em.
So here's a question, who was the best General to lead the Joes? Flagg Hawk Colton Rey Obviously Hawk had the longest "tenure", but was he the best? I'd say Flagg would have been the best if he had lived. He was there from the beginning, formed the team, and dealt with the Jugglers the best (Hawk was too in-your-face, Flagg was more political and I think it got him his way most of the time). Colton lead the team during a tough time, with the AE-group all going all over the place, and during WW3. He did a decent job. Rey was just never given a fair chance to shine. Hawk is the overall Commander of G.I. Joe. The Team is then broken into four subordinate Commands Army - General Flagg 2 Navy/Marines - Admiral Keel Haul Air Force - General Payload Special Operations - General Colton I am still trying to figure out where to fit General Rey into my chain of command. I like him a lot, but he's a brigadier general and I think he's a battle field type of leader. I'm thinking of placing him under General Flagg as the Commander of Combat Arms Forces in the regular Joe Army. Colonel Courage would then be in charge of Logistic/Support Units. I've also considered putting General Rey in Special Operations Command under General Colton. That would basically work like this... G-SOC (G.I. Joe Special Operations Command) C-O: General Colton Spec Ops Army: General Rey - Night Force - Tiger Force - Sky Patrol - Desert Patrol Squad - etc. Spec Ops Navy: Commander Thomas S. Magnum - Navy SEALs - Slaughter's Marauders Spec Ops Air: Lt. Col Sky Striker - All Special Operations Aircraft Spec Ops SWAT/HRT: Lt. Col. Sure Fire - Convention Special SWAT Team - Steel Brigade Intelligence: Major Claymore - Ghost Squad - All other Intelligence Operatives

Tronos and Oliverbox,
I like the File card you guys are working on. Here is the one I cooked up for myself based on my Air Force career. I need to make a couple of adjustments (grammer and adding a pic of me in uniform would help) but otherwise I'm satisfied. LMK what you think.

Drew, That's a really clever file card. I also like the cannonball picture. In the Army, that's the branch insignia for Ordinance Corps. Is that symbol used in the Air Force as well?
Nice work. I enjoyed reading it. Good information and very humorous.

Yep, the "pisspot" as we call it, is the official symbol for Air Force AMMO troops. AMMO meaning Ammunition/Munitions. Glad you liked the card. I'll post the update whenever I get some of my old photos scanned/edited and the file card adjusted.
