I recently won a Lt. Stone custom who I wanted to include in my joeverse, but the only existing BIO he has it this crap:
YOJOE.COM | G.I.Joe Sigma 6 I need to overhaul this thing. I suppose I may keep his PILOT specialty, and drop the master of disguise thing but maybe not. I'm not sure what works best. Maybe it should read like Ace's Filecard. |

Yeah, that is bad.
Is he going to be a pilot or intelligence officer?

Man, I'm glad to see y'all haven't given up on this thread. It was quiet for a long time.
Loose Cannon, I'm in a similar situation. I recently won a custom General Rey figure on ebay and I want to use him in my Joeverse. I would be delighted to help you with Lt. Stone. It would be fun. Do you want to give Lt. Stone a proper code name or just stick with Lt. Stone? He's British and he wears a maroon beret... that sounds like he's got a background with the Paras to me. May be a Sandhurst grad, commissioned into the Paras, wounded in action - that's where the bionic arm comes from, and then recruited by MI-6. I'll see what I can work up. Also, could y'all help me with Gen. Rey? He doesn't even have a proper code name. Does he need one? Hawk was a code name, but General Flagg doesn't have one. General Rey needs to be a tremendous warrior and thinker. West Point Athlete would be a MUST. Let me know what y'all think. Thanks.

Hopefully you scrap the "serpentor clone" from Rey.
What's a historic battle that was decided by military genius? Name him after that. Tripoli? Gen. Tripoli and make him a Marine officer? Stonewall could be cool, kind of fits his look and Gen. Stonewall after the famous general. Rey is a field soldier, Flagg was not, hence no code-name.

Lt. Stone
File Name: Stone, Douglas Chesterfield Primary Military Specialty: Military Intelligence/Counter Intelligence/Espionage Secondary Military Specialty: Airborne Infantry Rank: 1st Lieutenant (British Army) Place of Birth: Cambridge, England Douglas Stone was born to a wealthy family in England. His father, now a distinguished professor of Military History at Cambridge University, served as a highly decorated Colonel in the Prince of Wales' Regiment. From and early age, Douglas showed a great aptitude in athletic competition, as well as an uncanny ability in mathematics and languages. It was supposed he had a photographic memory. Douglas chose Sandhurst and was commissioned into the famous Parachute Regiment, much to the disappointment of his father. Colonel Stone had wanted his son to continue the family's tradition with the Prince of Wale's Regiment. Douglas wanted something a bit more elite. Douglas distinguished himself as an excellent officer, and was cross trained in Airborne Infantry and Military Intelligence. He was known to be a ferocious warrior as well as an extremely competent tactician and strategist. Such distinction paved the way for his selection into the S.A.S., where he served with distinction, before returning to the Paras. During a training exercise, Lt. Stone's parachute failed him and he was blown into the side of a mountain. A miracle that he lived, Lt. Stone's left arm was irrevocably shattered upon impact and his left eye was damaged beyond repair. Despite these injuries, Lt. Stone retained the presence of mind to continue the mission and lead his men. Upon completion of the mission, it was determined that his injuries were to severe for Lt. Stone to continue on active duty. He was discharged from the serve after his left arm was amputated. Never one to be discouraged, Lt. Stone returned home to Cambridge and began a Graduate course in International Studies. Upon completion of his doctoral thesis, Lt. Stone was approached by a member of MI-6, Action Man, with an offer to come and work for MI-6. Lt. Stone welcomed the opportunity to serve his country again. MI-6 then offered Lt. Stone a choice. He could work as an analyst, or he could volunteer for an experimental surgery involving robotics in order to become a field operative. To no one's surprise, he chose the latter. Stone was then outfitted with a bionic left arm. However, the surgery took a great deal more time than expected, and the surgical team was replaced about half way through the duration of the surgery. Consequently, it is a matter of national security to Her Majesty's Government as to what is behind the eye patch. Lt. Stone has been trained in further skills of espionage and subterfuge. He is a highly trained expert in disguise and is one of the best field operatives in MI-6. One would think that a bionic arm and an eye patch would be terribly difficult for a spy to hide - it would be a dead giveaway... it isn't for Lt. Stone, and perhaps that is the best testament to his skills as an operative.

Stonewall after the famous general. Rey is a field soldier, Flagg was not, hence no code-name. He's defiantly West Point Material. Probably played Football and Wrestled and Boxed at West Point - just athletic and tough. But to be a General, he probably graduated Top 5 in his class or better. He would have gone Infantry, but may have spent time in 1st Cavalry Div. leading a Recon Scout Platoon. Definantly Airborne Ranger Qualified. Air Assault, Pathfinder, HALO, Scuba... probably did a lot of time at the Ranger Regiment. I'm not sure about Special Forces, but since he lead that team of Cobra Special Ops, maybe he would be Special Forces. It doesn't seem beyond his capabilities. Just trying to work out the details. Thanks, Troynos.

I'd definately make him Special Forces. He seems the kind of guy that did "everything" and did it the hard way. Nothing was handed to him. He earned all his bars and all his qualifications.
Are there any nicknames associated with West Point? General ???? "Stonewall" Rey??
