I think the case with berets in the Joe team is that neither someone from a Special Forces Group or from a unit that is considered jump status would be able to wear their green or red berets respectively. I think that is only if they are currently serving on said units. The picture of Gordon and Shughart (both Special Forces) show them in black berets. I would think the Joe team would have some sort of unit cohesion with everyone wearing the same head gear. Then you have the issue of members of the Marines in the Joe team. Would they want to wear Army sanctioned attire?

Gung-Ho is wearing his Marines dress uniform and Torpedo is wearing a Navy sailor's uniform.

For Class A's yes. I was kind of referring to the typical uniform worn on a daily basis. I don't think a Marine is going to want to wear BDU's in the multicam. His or her espirit de corps will be too strong so he or she would probably want to wear the USMC digicam in woodland or desert and anything else a Marine would wear to set themselves apart from the Army.

I would think in garrison while working at the Pit, or other undisclosed location, they would all wear their service working uniforms-multicam, marpat, NWU III, or ODUs. Then, operationally, they wear whatever they need. Gung Ho goes shirtless, Torpedo wears a wet suit, they all wear whatever camo or civilian clothes needed to blend in.

That's my thought too. The only issue I see is the Joes being stationed at Ft Wadsworth. If they are trying to keep their identities secret then having people with different service uniforms coming and going may rouse suspicion. Of course the Joes driving tanks, heavy armored vehicles, artillery, etc out of a motor pool based at the Chaplain's Assistant School would already have raised a lot of suspicion. Lol
