He delights in destroying. Perhaps because he had his face destroyed in a terrible accident. The fact is that Commander Destruction never rests while not everything is ruined. Oh, from behind his irremovable mask, he laughs in satisfaction with his destruction!
“One of the prides of the Cobras Once behind the destruction of an entire city for only element the Commander Destruction, of course! He blew up a dam, submerged the city and to make matters worse, prevented access by land. Doing that is really evil!” Brazil Annihilator |

Now I am wondering how to incorporate this into my Joe-Verse. Were Joes such as Grunt, Duke, etc former 92Y's or were they actual 91F Small Arms/Towed Artillery Repairer's? |

It is sounding like it from some of the other sources I am looking at. Looks like they also clean and do minor maintenance to the weapons as well but they are as Seaneley pointed out 92Y Unit Supply Specialists.

Here's an excerpt; "This two-week long course includes training on service-common weapons but the course changes as weapons are added or deleted within the SOF inventory. All courses consist of hands-on practical training. The warfighter learns how to dismantle, repair, clean and refurbish weapons. Other topics taught include logistics; weapon nomenclature and description; cycle of operation; gauging procedures; reassembly safety and function check; and SOPMOD interoperability. The SOF weapons covered in the course include MK23 pistol; MK 11, MK12 and MK13 sniper rifles; MK46 and MK 48 machine guns; and MK47 grenade machine gun". The course is primarily geared to Special Forces / Marine / SEAL Weapons Sergeants / Specialists and even some conventional units including Naval and Marine Security Units I think we discussed the course a couple hundred pages back (maybe), I'll look and see when I get off work |

They don't have to be either, if you want to keep the armorer skills for your Joes, there is the USSOCOM Joint Armorer's course available at NSW Crane.

Thanks Tyroc! I am trying to find more info on it but I can't locate the actual course or its prerequisites. Also I wonder if the U.S Army has some sort of similar course for non-SOF personnel? |

Whatever route you choose john Shaft, I think the critical piece is these guys can maintain the weapons and not just Supply guys. I like the USSOCOM Joint Armorer's course angle Tyroc listed. That seems like hugely important, but that seems like something all the Joes who serve as Weapons Sgts would attend. Being the Armorer (There's only 4 right?) Seems like something a little above the rest. Like the Joe Quartermaster?
It's Duke, Grunt, Blowtorch, and Mercer? Are there others?

Tyroc has a great point but if you went with the traditional route I'd say that Duke was definitely 91F.

Guess what Fireguard loved to do as a child? Light matches! “You will end up setting fire to the house, boy!” said his father. “I'll be a fire-fighter!” was what the boy said. Grew up to be a fireman and appeared in all the papers for saving a baby from a burning building. Famous, Fireguard was called to integrate into the Commandos and cut the cost of Cobras!

“Our friend Fireguard and fire!” is what the Commandos say! Brazil Barbecue v1 Note 2: Even though this is "Brazilian Barbeque v.1", it's actually based on the U.S. "Slaughter's Marauder's Barbeque." They also had a "Brazilian Barbeque v.2, based on the U.S. "v.1". I'm pretty sure they're meant to be 2 different people. I went ahead and translated the "2nd Barbeque's" file-card: Fogueira ‘Bonfire / Fire Pit’ (Barbecue v.1) - Linha de Fogo ‘Line of Fire / Fire Line’ Amongst the toys of a child, the firefighter carts were preferred by Bonfire. He always found fantastic the sound of sirens and the courage of the soldiers of fire. So much that, for him, the more fuel on the fire, the better. Is not for less that Bonfire was soon in control of the line of fire of the Commandos. Worse for the Cobras, because after that Bonfire passes are [only] left-over ashes. Interestingly, his name and file-card duties make it seem like he enjoys starting fires, not stopping them! Edit: I just discovered that Foguiera can be translated "Fireman" also, so it does have the extra meaning of one who puts out fires... Last edited by seaneley; 08-18-2016 at 04:49 PM.. |

Two of the Cobra vehicles, that patrol the waters around Cobra Island are the Cobra BUGG and Hammerhead. In the picture of the Cobra BUGG, there is Big Boa,Road Pig and a Toxo-Viper. In the picture of the Hammerhead, there looks to be a Laser Viper and Rock
viper. One of the big GI Joe vehicles is the Rolling Thunder. How often would the Joes need to use the vehicle? When would they need to use the Rockets? |
