I don't know for sure but I can see their Ranger backgrounds would lend themselves to any JFO training. Onw thing for sure all of them are probably qualified Radio operators.

Unique to Brazil because of the mold:
Falcon Piloto ‘Falcon Pilot’ (“Zap” in tan) – Falcon Piloto ‘Falcon Pilot’ – with Asa Delta Camuflada ‘Delta Wing Camouflaged / Cloaked’ (G.I. JOE Falcon Glider) Weapons expert connoisseur, Falcon Pilot is a great of aviation in his Camouflaged Delta Wing. Training every day to try to reach perfection, he flies high, makes loops [or, corkscrews] and flybys [or, low-flying flights]. His specialty is putting the enemy in retreat with a super corkscrew with boomerang effect! We had a "tan" Grunt for our Falcon Pilot, but Brazil had a unique figure with "tan Zap". Oddly, his code-name and job description were the same. It would be like if Stalker were called "Ranger the Ranger"... |

Another "original JOE":
Front (Grunt) - Frente de Batalha ‘Front of Battle / Battle Front’ Hard worker [or, fighter], this front-line soldier has as [his] mission [to] make way for the other Commandos against the enemy. Armed with his automatic rifle, he does trenches and land mines. Endowed with quick reflexes and courage, this front fighter knows how to drive the Armored Assault [“Blindado de Assalto”; a.k.a. V.A.M.P. Mk. II]. |

With a strategic position on the sea floor, the Commandos controlled every attack action of the Cobras. One attack, however, was not perceived in time. And it was fatal! Stingray, the submarine saboteur of Cobra, attacked the Commando base. "Demonia" his inseparable stingray, guided him by a path unknown to frogmen. With auto decompression helmet, special fins and implanted membranes between the fingers of his left hand, he swam up to it with incredible dexterity. After wielding his dagger-hook he entered the base. With his harpoon-explosive, drilled the oxygen inlet pipes and pressurisation, forcing the Commandos to leave the place. He proved with this attack that the Cobras are terrible even underwater!
“Obsessed with the idea of finding Atlantis, Stingray when still a young scientist, was lost in the depths of the Bermuda Triangle. Found days later he was already not the same! Hooked by Cobra his obsession now was sabotaging submarine platforms and stations. A perfect fish for the network of Cobra!” Brazil Hydro-Viper |

Definitely! I actually have both Pathfinder and Crazy Legs as RTO's assigned to two of my six-man Assault Team's (Crazy Legs on a HALO Troop and Pathfinder on a SCUBA Troop). I think they are a natural fit for such a position. |

From my understanding anyone can apply for JFO training, BUT there are apparently only about a 1000 slots and priority is given to soldiers with a 13F MOS. There are some 11B's that get thru but its dependent on ASVAB (???) test scores, nature of the soldier's unit and rank.
I can see guys like Grunt, Crazy Legs and Pathfinder getting thru. Duke most likely would get a higher priority being SF. Also noting your career progression of Duke - 11b > 18B > 18Z. I would throw in an 18F between the Weapons SGT and Operations SGT MOS's. One of the later filecards (I forget which) has Military Intelligence as an MOS so 18F makes a good fit. |

They were close. The perception of Bobcat confirmed the radar surveys. They approached in silence. As point-man, Bayonet acted fast without making the slightest noise. He was never caught: Bobcat pinning down enemies or when it was inevitable, the rifle with silencer, the bayonet or sword did the rest. Bayonet unlocked the door with the tip of the sword. No Cobra around. There was ammunition and explosives stored by the Cobras! They do not imagine that someone entered this cache without send him flying. The Cobras had not counted on the silent action of Bayonet!
“Since small Bayonet led his class. He led the way, examining the ground, climbed the wall, climbed into the guava tree and gave the signal. The way was clear ... So then, everyone move in!” Brazil Spearhead and Max |

Last of the "original Joes", Brazil-style:
Furion ‘Fury / Rage’, from fúria (Short-Fuze) - Soldado Morteiro ‘Mortar Soldier’ Fearless, nothing holds [back] Furion. Super-equipped with a mortar and a special backpack to store ammunition. Furion is strong and collects victories. Cunning, he charts infallible attack plans. His ability to use his mortar is essential to finish off enemies. |

Only a slight difference in file-cards between the Invader (O Invasor) and the Cobra Invader (Cobra Invasor). Both are meant to represent troop builders, even though they are based on the toy mold of "Snake-Eyes" v.1.
Cobra Invasor ‘Invader Cobra’ (Snake-Eyes v.1 with Silver Cobra Emblem) – Cobra Invasor Of unknown origin, the enemies are very powerful and they want to dominate the world. They are the Cobra Invaders [or, Invading Snakes]. They always attack in packs and appear anywhere in the world. The only thing that can stop their advancement is the presence of the Commandos, super prepared to face this terrible threat worldwide. |

Code Name: Mastim ‘Mastiff’ (Mutt) - Cão Bravio ‘Wild Dog’ & Sucata ‘Scrap’ (Junkyard)
Absolute coach of dogs, Mastiff knows exactly what you can demand of them and when it’s time to stop an angry police dog it’s a deadly threat that should be reserved for attacks on hideouts of Cobras. The bravery of Mastiff, that earned him the name "Wild Dog", together with the fury of his police dog, [enables him to] face any danger. So, Brazilian Mutt's position on the team is basically "Wild Dog?" Wow... |
