The old school one from the 70's? Man I miss mine. I forgot all about it until now. That was almost 40 years ago.

Bulletproof, Shockwave, Widescope, Bullhorn, Lockdown, Law, Long Arm? Any of the other C.O.P.S. characters?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COPS_(1988_TV_series) I'd really rather have an all new set of characters, I want two to be US Marines, one or two to be USAF Security Police and the others to be US Army SRT types. |

Are you looking for plausible Codenames? I assume you have a place for all known named characters. COPS may have a few codenames to use, (BOWSER, TASER, NIGHTSTICK) GI Joe Extreme might have a few more. (BALLISTIC, GRILL, MOUSE) The Unit might have some as well?
Mayday?

Do you guys include Sidetrack and Side Track as separate characters? Not sure which is the right on, but I include the Ranger one in my Joeverse. Having both with the same name is just too confusing for me. There's just so many headswaps I have with older versions of characters that work out pretty good to make up for the missing Joes.

I wish the codenames were a little more unique form each other.

Speaking of Law Enforcement, I've moved Law & Order into a new unit. For some reason he didn't fit into either Intel or the SRT unit I have. He just didn't feel organic to me. Also, most SOF as far as I know do not have organic Military Police personnel attached unless attached by a supporting theater. The Rangers use private security guards, the SAS use the UK Police and according to Eric Haney, Delta uses retired SF guys.
Anyway, long story short I've added a DETINT or Detainee Intelligence element to my structure. It's a very small unit of maybe 8 guys but they operate the Joes own Black Site - the Coffin. Law is the Operations Officer, along with Screw, Winchester, Law Hound (from IDW) and Rook, Checkpoint and Red Zone. I'm finally happy with it because it ties both his specialties together. |
