The LRRP connection puts them squarely with the 75th Rangers. That MACV-SOG story is a good note for discussion. No doubt. I just have to go to the absence of evidence in the file cards. It's explicit in so many other file cards... it can't just be an oversight. The Club could easily fix this discrepency.

As for who else might be Delta, I can think of 5 possibles;
1) Footloose - His Action Force profile writes about his SAS service 2) Crankcase - His filecard writes about his attending a SAS driving course. That course is usually held only for SAS / SBS / SRR personnel and for most SAS guys it's a precursor to joining one of the Mobility Troops. Also the AWE Striker is very reminiscent of the 'Pink Panther' Desert Patrol Vehicles popularized by the SAS. 3) Clutch - according to his filecard, he attended Executive Bodyguard training. I think only Delta / DEVGRU / ISA perform close protection services (and 5th SFGA in Afghanistan before they handed over the mission to DEVGRU) 4) Hit & Run - His Action Force profile discusses his SAS service 5) Ditto Outback

if you're going on the idea of AF file-cards mentioning SAS service as evidence of US versions being Delta or whatever, also worth consideration is Beach Head, who is mentioned as being from the New Zealand SAS. NZSAS is very much equivalent to the UK SAS and ergo, Delta.

I did not know that. I never saw that on the Blood for the Baron website... what about Digger/Recondo?

Longslide was a name applied to Footloose in exactly ONE issue of AF Weekly to cover the fact they were reprinting the US issue that introduced him and he was already an established character in the UK stories. It was never reused.
AFAIK, Digger is simply a blonde Recondo used by the Aussie publisher of the Joe comics to give them some local flavour by them recolouring Recondo's hair in the few US issues that they published and he acting as an introducer to the comic stories. |

I forgot about Longslide. I used that before back before ME days. I will have to reuse it to expand my ever growing Action Force. I use POC Recondo as Digger.

I'm very curious what issues state that they are definitely not a branch of Delta. |

It does but later in Special Missions 2, I believe, an agent describes them as "too scruffy to be Delta, and not weird enough to be SOG".
