The original Skydive, of which I have a very rough version, has one of the best head sculpts of ARAH, IMHO. The POC version is okay, but doesn't have the character of the original . He reminds me of Tom Skerrit, Viper, in Top Gun. He definitely deserves a promotion to Warrant Officer, maybe even commissioned LDO although I don't know if the Army has those.

Oliver! Long time no see. OK then how do you explain Flint? Or any other 180A? This probably being the only Infantry Warrant Officer MOS that matters.
I worked with a guy who may or may not have been with the Night Stalkers. I know he spent enough time around a lot of Special Ops guys. His view of Warrant Officer was that they were just civilians in BDUs. They are treated differently for some reason, but I suspect some of the non-Infantry MOS's might require certain overrides for physical fitness due to pool of candidates. I am still torn with Skydive. I had him as a Captain for a while, but I think it would be better if he switched ranks with Altitude. Why would they have a Sgt Major on the team who wasn't the Leader? Plus there are two other Master Sgts on the same team.

Isn't Flint a Green Beret and a Warrant Officer?

Special Forces have Warrants to fill the XO slot on an ODA, a position previously filled by a junior officer, so now the XO is one of the most experienced members on the team, since he is recruited from the enlisted ranks. However, Flint's WO status probably reflects his helicopter pilot specialty since the card was written in '85.

I don't know. I always wonder what Hama had in mind with Flint. His filecard has Flight Warrant Officer school which of course leads to a Warrant. His original filecard has him as E-6. He goes to WO-3 in his next incarnation with Tiger-Force. Most of the time he is listed as WO-2. The Joes don't need another helicopter pilot so his role as a 180A makes the most sense and seems to relate to his persona.
How are Marine Warrant Officers different? I think helicopter pilots are all full officers in the Marines. One Warrant Officer role I found in the Marines was Range Officer. Hollow-Point is a Range Officer and a helicopter pilot and an E-6. However I think Marine pilots are all officers.

Yeah, all Marine pilots are officers. They go through the same training and schools as Navy flight officers. Hollow Point's rank makes it hard to reconcile him as a helicopter pilot or a warrant officer but he could be a range safety officer (RSO), which requires a minimum grade of E6.

Yeah I was thinking he would get a promotion. Sgt. STONE would be another who i think would fit as a warrant officer Range officer or Gunner as they are now known. Im a little confused as the difference but I believe "Gunner" is the correct way to address them as they are non Technical Warrant Officers. I think there are only 100 in the entire Marine Corps.
