I like Lady Jaye as part of the ISA. Have you read The Activity comic from Image?
In my joeverse, the Joe team starts out as the ISA headed by General Flagg, but due to Cobra and it's agents in the US Government the entire group is disavowed and has to move underground and becomes the Joe team under direct supervision of the President.

no, i haven't. Jaye's appeared once so far. I don't know if she will again. Duke probably won't. He hates the Brits.
The Joes who've appeared so far (Duke, Flint, Torpedo, Hit&Run, Snake Eyes and Jaye) have trouble understanding the British characters' accents (although Jaye does better) and one British guy goes off on one at Duke when the joint op goes tits up. Seems Duke does understand as he then tries to deck the guy... |

With the dissolution of the USSR, I'm unsure how to use the Oktober Guard characters now.
If keep Action Force British and the Oktober Guard as the European Joint team, that would move Quarrel into the OG since she's from Sweden. If make Action Force the EU joint team, that would move alot of the OG into Action Force.

my other fan-fic, the series i've mostly been writing for the last ~2 years, i use the Joes as US, Oktober Guard as WarPac, but mostly Russian (post 1994, they gain more members, nearly all Russians) and AF are a NATO/EU hybrid. AF started out as a NATO unit, gained some WarPac members until Black Major defected, then the US pulled out and formed the Joes, the USSR pulled out and formed the Guard and the European NATO nations kept AF going. They occassionally recruit from outside Europe, but are allied with Austria and Sweden as well as Australia, the latter due to Red Shadow and Cobra attacks on Aus.
For this fan-fic, I've not decided on how/if i'm going to use the OG. |

The GI Joe team (or Joint Services Special Task Force Black)
Hawk – Colonel – CO Duke – Sergeant-Major – I know Lady Jaye being Activity is probably a stretch, but I wanted her in the unit without her being CIA. Snake Eyes is not a ninja, he's just a badass Delta guy with some martial arts moves. I made Flint a sergeant because I wanted Duke as the senior NCO with only Falcon and Hawk above him in the field troops role, although Hawk doesn't get out in the field much and neither do Scarlett or Mainframe.

Switzerland/Sweden, in this case doesn't matter. She'd still have to be shifted out of Action Force.
I don't really like the idea of the OG being somewhat underground and rogue. I never really saw them, except maybe Brekhov, has being loyal to the USSR over their own Countries. I'd see Daina working with a Czech unit over the OGs.

Capt. Britain, I like your set up for the Joes. I set mine up similarly using only the ME Joes I have on hand. I agree Hawk, Scarlett, and Mainframe wouldn't go out in the field as much, although in my 'verse Doc doesn't either. It appears to be a very lean and mean unit, not many vehicle drivers or "fantasy" characters. Same for the UK contingent. Where do you base your teams out of?
