Welcome to the thread! Were you been. Now you can share you set ups. But like Oliver I'm very keen on adding some of the action force guys to my Joe forces. However I just don't always have that handy. I know I can go to BFTB but maybe you and of course Lardman can enlighten us.
SO far I've added Eagle, Skip, Dolphin, Action man, Natalie, Quarrel Jammer, Beaver. I'm only looking at ME articulation so most are cu stoms or renames but there are so many versions of the Snake -eyes I can repurpose them as AF SAS guys. Can someone give me a run down of the AF SAS guys? Sparrowhawk, Hunter, Stake -Out Eagle, Blades. Any more?

Spirit served in Vietnam, and probably Repeater as well-"With close to 20 years in the Army...". I'd say it's very likely he was there.

Wet Suit's the only character I have multiples of so I treat him as two seperate characters, to make 4 SEALs. I'm planning to get that Shooter o-ring custom that Falcone from Yo Joe is producing, as well as the female Greenshirt variant, Shooter will go in the Sniper/Recon group and the greenshirt I'm making a new character called 'Jade', who will be Dragonfly gunner. Since I have a mild case of OCD that I have to have a round number of figures, adding Shooter and Jade will take me to 86. I will then have to decide who else to get, I'm thinking about getting Lightfoot and spinning him, Tripwire, Airtight and Barbecue out as a seperate EOD team, Shockwave would go into the MP/K9 team, Backblast I'd attach to the fire support force and then Dusty, Alpine, Outback, Recondo and Pathfinder would become an 'Extreme Conditions' team. I'm also thinking about adding Muskrat, who'd go in the EC team. I'm also contemplating getting either Lightfoot or Muskrat and then the Renegades, who would go in their own team. I also want to get Natalie Poole from the 2009 con-set, who'd go in Commando Ops. |

My Cobra Army:
C3I Serpentor - Emperor Cobra Commander V3 - Leader Baroness - Intelligence Destro - XO Major Bludd - senior officer Tele-Viper - communications Infantry 2X Cobra Trooper 2x Viper 2x BAT Anti-armour/fire support Scrap Iron SAW-Viper HEAT-Viper Flak-Viper Arctic Ops 4x Snow Serpent Fifth Column 6X Crimson Guard Tomax - co-commander 5th column Xamot - co-commander 5th column Naval Ops 2x Eel Undertow Hydro-Viper Vehicle Support Wild Weasel - Rattler pilot Stinger Driver Specialists Toxo-Viper - Eco-terrorism Techno-Viper - battlefield repair Commando Ops Alley-Viper Night-Viper Destro's Bodyguard 2x Iron Grenadier I hope to, one day, double up on most of my Cobra troop builders, for 4 each of BAT, Viper, Trooper, Iron Grenadier and Eel, 2 Undertows, HEAT-Vipers, SAW-Vipers, Techno-Vipers, Toxo-Vipers, Alley-Vipers and Night-Vipers. I also want to add a HISS and driver, a WOLF and Ice-Viper and Copperhead and Mocassin, 2 Annhilators and 2 TARGATs, who would form 'Airmobile' squad and 1 Cobra Officer. I've recently been contemplating getting a second Stinger and actually getting 2 HISS tanks, for a proper mech assault group. I'd also add 2 Heli-Vipers for my FANG and Flight Pod (which both need replacing as their broke). I'm also considering adding Slice, Dice and 2 Red Ninjas of both v1 Stormy repaint variety and V2 Stormy repaint variety. |

So if you guys had to put together an eight- or ten-man All-Star team that could train for almost any type of mission--CQB, VBSS, recon & surveillance, raids, search & destroy, hostage rescue, guerrilla warfare, counterinsurgency--and most any form of infiltration--airborne (HALO/HAHO, static line), underwater (SCUBA, submersible craft), helicopter assault (fastrope, rappel), watercraft (CRRC, RHIB)--and operate independently for short periods of time in a wide range of environments with little to no resupply, beyond the range of artillery, with sparse air support, and no backup, what Joes would you choose?
What skill sets and areas of expertise would you try to cover? Communications, medical/rescue, demolitions, breaching, EOD, tracking, dog handling, anti-armor, heavy weapons, interrogation, language interpretation, intelligence, tactical driving, aircraft operation, etc. What position or positions would each member play on the team (would there being any overlap), and which weapons or essential equipment would you equip them with so that they could handle most encounters? Would you include survival experts? Soldier's with important secondary skill sets? Who would lead the team and who would assist the team leader? You decide. (You can even add or modify some MOS for your members within reason. Say, for example, Lifeline attends pararescue school to augment his medical skills.) In other words, who would be the creme de la creme of your Joes? An ultimate, well-rounded team of bad asses! Last edited by Tanksmasher; 02-02-2013 at 12:27 AM.. |
