DDP had her list as a SGT, but they listed Depthcharge as a SGT also. Don't remember what the Extreme Mayday was.

It's fine to use her as Mayday... probably the best way to do it. But there will be NO female SEALs in my Joeverse. None. Never.

I have the same problem. I'm guessing Air Force Phoenix Raven? I had a hard enough time with Lady Jaye being Ranger Schooled. I wonder, since it hasn't been discussed in a while, what is considered the most intense combat arms training available to women? In the US and perhaps the world since other countries may have different thoughts on the matter.

What about the Army Cultural Support Program for the female members? It seems a little less than worthy, but I think the few women involved in the program are essential to the war effort and those roles could be easily extrapolated into valid combat experience.
The United States Army | SWCS Then there also seems to be many females in Civil Affairs which is related but still unrepresented in G.I. Joe.

When do female graduates of Sapper School get to use their skills? There's so much emphasis on breaching and small unit tactics, do women get close enough to the action to use it?

Navy EOD is open to women. They get jump and dive training plus the small unit tactics. South Korea has the 707th, which is their Tier 1 level force. It's open to women.
When do female graduates of Sapper School get to use their skills? There's so much emphasis on breaching and small unit tactics, do women get close enough to the action to use it? Other Army Schools open to women are Pathfinder, Airborne, Jump Master, Air Assault, HALO... and maybe Scuba, but I don't think the Special Operations Dive school is open to women, but I could be mistaken. The "Sapper Tab" is pretty well respected. It's sort of like "Junior Ranger School" plus Combat Engineering... it's a pretty tough course. I think that if a woman wanted to earn all the qualification badges she could to prove herself in the Army, a Sapper Tab would go a long way. It's not Ranger School, but the fact that Sapper School has a Tab and other tough schools like "Sniper School" or the LRSC Course don't, says it's pretty worth while. I know the Navy EODs are supposed to be pretty cool. I just don't know a lot about them. However, at the end of the day, I don't like them changing my Joes' bios... Lady Jaye was always in the Army. Making her a sailor just doesn't work for me. If they wanted a SEAL in the movie, there are plenty of great characters we would have loved to see: Torpedo, Wet-Suit, Shipwreck, etc.
