First, the question about Special Forces... well, we've already done a Green Beret team... so that's taken care of. We used classic woodland camo for that.
Size of the units... (Roster need to NOT overlap) Army/Delta: 15-20 USMC/Raiders: 10-12 SEALS: 8-12 Ranger/LRRP: 6 SAS/SBS - No idea. However many we can think of. Also, it's cool to use the Australian characters like Skymate and Digger, and I'd like to use the British incarnation of Footloose because he was SAS. So, I would like to begin by listing all the Marines and SEALs and SAS/SBS. USMC Gung-Ho Leatherneck Sgt. Slaughter Mainframe Mace Hollow Point Bull Horn Blast Off Mirage Sgt. Stone Lt. Stone New Character - Warrant Officer: Ka-Bar SEALs Torpedo Wet Suit Shipwreck Tracker Wet-Down Depth-Charge Link Talbot Night-Fox Tracker Mariner Harpoon Deep Six New Character: Officer - Geronimo New Character: Officer - Trident SAS/SBS Eagle (Action Force) Big Ben Skymate Digger (AF Recondo) Longslide (AF Footloose) Windchill (v2) Ice Storm UK Flint Action Man New Character: Officer - Dagger (RM-SBS) LRRP - Rangers Repeater Recoil Dart Free Fall Tunnel Rat Muskrat Cross Hair Sneek-Peek

Who have you used already in your other teams? No overlapping there?

You can add Topside and Rampart or 2 other new SEALs so you'll have a full 16-man platoon.

Found this on Wiki. Does not have a citation but does a nice job of explaining the Tier system that USSOCOM uses:
Currently, SOCOM has in place what many refer to as the Tier system. Quite often a specific tier status is believed to be synonymous with the ranking of a SOF unit above others; which is false. The tier system was implemented to ascertain how much funding a specific unit in SOCOM should receive. Granted that the two most elite units in the US arsenal, Delta Force and DEVGRU (SEAL Team 6), are classified as Tier 1. This causes the widespread belief that only the most elite units are in the Tier 1 structure when in fact the most "important" units to the mission at hand fall under Tier 1. This includes Delta Force, DEVGRU (SEAL Team 6), Intelligence Support Activity, Joint Communications Unit, JMAU (a medical unit with battlefield surgical capabilities), and the 24th Special Tactics Squadron. Because tier status is controlled more-so by the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) instead of SOCOM; the two groups who directly support the Tier 1 command (JSOC) on everyday operations include the 75th Ranger Regiment and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Night Stalkers) are both on the tier 2 level of funding. Both units require the most up-to-date technology and weaponry available in order to directly support all Special Missions Unit (Delta and DEVGRU) operations. The remaining special operations forces such as the Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces (Green Berets), PSYOPS, and Civil Affairs fall under the Tier 3 funding category because they operate outside of JSOCs mission and are rarely assigned to support JSOC operations. |

Nice! Oliver,
Action Force Footloose was called 'Long Slide' so you can use that name and still have Footloose. |

Yeah, those UK filecards are great... especially when there is a difference between them and the U.S. versions... Was Footloose called "Long Slide" in the UK?

I need a good roster of which Joes you would want on a "Delta Force" type strike team that doesn't overlap with my Ranger/LRRP team.

SOCOM/USASOC Ranking would be a little more like what we've discussed before. In terms of training, selection, funding, mission profiles, capabilities, and OpTempo 1. Delta/DevGru/ISA/24th Special Tactics Squadron 2. Special Forces/SEALS/MARSOC 3. 75th Ranger Regiment/160th SOAR/USAF PJ's/ USAF CC's 4. Civil Affairs/SWCC/PsyOps
