Right, just code name, and an action blurb saying stuff like "Roadblock uses his ninja battle kata to fight the forces of cobra".

Yeah retaliation is going to give us even less for filecards. But your card looks good Troy. The helmet is the one thing I'm not liking about this figure. Still I'm hoping we can guess a few things about this character from the movie. Do you think the movie will have Airborne in it as well? Did you get Airborne with Mouse?

I've been working on filecards for some Tiger Force customs made by Griff. Here is what I came up with for Sabertooth. Alot of it was "borrowed" from Oliver's Sabertooth a few pages back and from information provided by Oliver, Zulu, and the rest of the Filecard thread vets. I'm getting stumped with Wreckage though. When I pull up a list of MOS in Wiki, I can't find anything for training. What MOS would I use for a Jungle Warfare Trainer? Any ideas would be helpful.
Also, I'm going to create a list of Cobra MOS. Anybody else ever try this? |

I really wish they could revive the file cards but to do that they're going to develop new characters. I've been working on "extended file cards" with more info, including an Additional MOS, SQIs, ASIs, languages, military education, decorations & medals, special skill tabs and badges, marksmanship badges, and maybe even promotion dates or unit assignments. I'll have some samples up soon.

I'm having mixed feelings about it. In a way, I'd rather take a new character with a couple of details from the movie or off a little blurb on the packaging and make my own card. Then again, the old cards gave us all a starting point. It's been said many times, but I'll say it again, I'd love to see the old school cards on the new figures. Either go old school or none at all. If they are like the RoC file cards, I can live without them.

Good idea on the Cobra MOS. I've wanted to do something along those lines but have other projects to finish. There is no MOS for jungle instructor, at least not in the army. There is an SQI of 8 that is given to instructors, but don't know if any teach at JWTC. Its taught by Marines but they may invite instructors from other services to assist. Not sure. If so, they're probably 11Bs or 18Bs.

I have to admit I hated the shape, the filecard, the way the card folded up on the front of the bubble, and the wierd tags that hung off the card, but the art on those RoC cards was fantastic for the most part. Whoever was responsible for that should be very proud because the majority of those where very well done.
