That sounds good. Is Battle force 2000 part of this unit? I have a similar heavy weapons experimental unit which is an expanded Battle Force 2000. But its led by Col. Tony Stark and Lt Col. Norm Osborne.

I put the Snowcat with MERT (Mobile Enviroment Research Team) a 12 person team that includes Medical, firefighter, hazmat, flamethrower and missile weapon systems specialists. 1 -Gorilla - (True Heroes Police) command van 2 Transport Humvee style pickups 1 Snowcat ? Planning for another vehicle. I finally bought a Captain America - Strikefire vehicle clearanced for 10 bucks at Target. I'm using it for Sgt Slaughter and the Renegades (Taurus, Mercer and Red Dog).

Things around here have been really slow. For the first time I feel that GI Joe really needs a strong rally. The film probably isn't going to do it. I miss the days of seeing vintage-style cards hanging in Target and Walmart, wave after wave of new stuff. Those were good times.

The movie is too ninja-based. I HATE HATE HATE the text piece on the side of the package which basically says all the Joes have ninja training.
Ugh.

I know. In what other media do ninjas even exist, other than GI Joe? It's ninja overkill. Makes me wish Rudat and Hama were back with Hasbro doing what they did best--creating interesting new characters and writing killer file cards.

It's not that I don't like Ninjas, but I agree, everyone being a ninja is just a bit annoying. I hope it pays off though. I wonder if Ninjas are as cool to a 9 year old today as back in the day. I think Hama has a lot to do with it's popular culture. Yeah it's mostly Joe, but some other Marvel characters share Ninja training. I imagine that rubbed off from Hama during his days with Marvel. We have to remember at one point GIJoe was the most popular comic in America by a mile. (Of course that was before Ninja Force)
I suppose things will pick up after the convention. It's been fairly boring on the site as of late. I've been preoccupied watching the prices of the JoeCon sets go through the roof. Just another thing that pisses me off about the club and everything Hasbro isn't doing right. I just got my Retaliation figures, and I didn't think the lack of ankle articulation would bother me but it does. That's lame. I hope someone at the Con just blasts HASBRO to the point they never want to come back.(I'm not even going to order vehicles until they go clearance or something) I mean there seems to be a lot of interesting things coming out this year, but where is the love? It's like they are trying to cut corners and flood the market at the same time. I suppoose it's a good strategy, but woould it kill them to just even reproduce existing filecards?

I think they are trying to bring back the whole Chuck Norris karate and Power Rangers and ninja turtle "Money Train". Yuck.

I think your right Takedown.
So looking at the figures I have I was debating how to rename some of them. I like the Dojo Set, but can't say I Love Kamakura, but he's passible. Beachhead I will be renaming Sneak Peek. He's a Ranger, he dressed in mostly Gray, and really a real Recon guy would not be wearing Red or be slightly overweigth, so i Think this is a better incarnation for Sneak-Peek. Dojo Roadblock I will be using as Dojo from ninja Force. Both wear bald and with goatees. And a real E-8 in the military would not have a 2 foot long ponytail. He'll be more of an urban specialist. Retaliation trooper just looks like Master Chief. I think I'll use him as navy EOD specialist, and took the Mohawk extra head put it on Duke and call him Effects, as a 2nd EOD specialist. The one I still can't decide on is Zartan?
