Also I added the Earthquake to the Combat Engineering Team. I know it is Cobras, but it fits here I think. Wouldn't be the 1st time a Cobra vehicle was used as a Joe vehicle or vice versa.

The earthquake was a fun toy. Any method you use to come up with 15 Armadillos/armored lathered? I keep forgetting about Hunter. I see none of the action force guys have ranks. I do love how you include the blueprint drawings with these. To me another fun thing sorely missed from the vehicles.

No method.
Using 4 tanks Platoons, figured since they were so small I could have three Armadillo plattoons for Security of the Rolling Thunder. The Renegades could break away to go do damge on their own, lol |

So yesterday while watching GI JOE & The Screamin Eagles a few times to get all the nuggets into my Joe Verse. I decided to use ROC Hawk for my Sgt Savage, Squad Leader of the Screamin' Eagles Heavy Weapons Squad.
So, I had been working on getting my 2nd Platoon complete. 3 Squads and a Heavy Weapons Squad including a Platoon Leader, Platoon Sergeant, RTO, Medic, Forward Observer and Guidon Bearer. Rapid Fire, Platoon Ldr Stalker, Platoon Sgt Breaker, RTO Lifeline, Medic Sneak Peek, FO Spearhead, Guidon Bearer I still need an overall name for the Platoon, but the Squads are individually named. *1st Squad- MASS Recon (Made up mostly of MASS Device Mini-series) *2nd Squad- Ghost Squad (Made up of Joes that died in comics) *3rd Squad- Night Force (Made up of mostly Night Force) *Heavy Weapons- Screamin Eagles (with a few additions) 1st Squad- Rock'n Roll, Squad Leader Zap, Fire Team 1 Steeler, Fire Team 1 Grunt, Fire Team 1 Short Fuse, Fire Team 1 Snow Job, Fire Team 2 Leader Airborne, Fire Team 2 Grand Slam, Fire Team 2 Covergirl, Fire Team 2 2nd Squad- Kate (Craig/Shooter), Squad Leader Blocker, Fire Team 1 Knockout, Fire Team 1 Mangler, Fire Team 1 Cool Breeze, Fire Team 1 Crankcase, Fire Team 2 Leader Heavy Metal, Fire Team 2 Thunder, Fire Team 2 Quick Kick, Fire Team 2 3rd Squad- Outback, Squad Leader Repeater, Fire Team 1 Muskrat, Fire Team 1 Shockwave, Fire Team 1 Lightfoot, Fire Team 1 Ambush, Fire Team 2 Leader Recoil, Fire Team 2 Hit & Run, Fire Team 2 Crazy Legs, Fire Team 2 Weapons Squad- Sgt Savage, Squad Leader D-Day, Fire Team 1 Headbanger, Fire Team 1 Grill, Fire Team 1 Tank, Fire Team 1 Sgt Rock, Fire Team 2 Leader Mouse, Fire Team 2 Dynamite, Fire Team 2 Quick Stryke, Fire Team 2 Im not sure about using Battle Force 2000, in 2nd Squad, so right now they are place-holder names. Doc isn't with 2nd Squad, he's with MAS-X (Mobile Armored Strike-eXperimental) which includes Medic/Hazmat Team.

As promised here is my Mayday (Retaliation renamed Lady Jaye)
This one took me a little longer, but I wanted a some meat to it a little bit of cheese and a slice of realism. I unfortunately know very little about the Air Force Security Forces, but past conversations led me down this path for her. While I was looking up Air Force Counter-sniper school I realized it's in Little Rock, and find mentions to the fact that's the birthplace of Carlos Hathcock. Hollow-Point is from Quitman which is just North of there, but close enough in my imagination that the two may have crossed paths before.

Hi guys,
Hope everyone's well, sorry for the long absence - work and 7 month old daughter take up most non-sleeping minutes these days (though I am planning to convert a Devilfish to remote control now that the sun has come out here...). I have a question that I think you can answer though... ;) I saw on the news the other day that some yachtsmen taking part in a round-the-world race were injured by a freak wave off the California coast, and read that the US Coastguard were planning to parachute personnel to provide medical assistance (see e.g. BBC News - US Coast Guard helping Clipper round-the-world yacht) I didn't realise that the US Coastguard are parachute trained, let alone parachuting into water. Is this a mix up by the news people (though I've read it a couple of times now) or would e.g. PJs have been involved in this sort of thing? I did have a look at the USCG website and while it said that parachute packing was a skill they learn, it said nothing about parachuting itself, so I was assuming this is related to parachutes for air-dropped equipment and supplies. Any thoughts? Thanks |

I don't think the CG have parachute trained personnel.

I have a book by a Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer called "Brotherhood of the Fin", and IIRC, he mentions that they are not trained in parachuting and SCUBA, nor are they trained to the EMT-Paramedic level. Apparently, these were sources of frustraion for him. So, yeah, they're probably PJs.
