It's been awhile. Nice uniform Oliver. You have like every badge of wings there. Airborne navy seal helicopter pilot green beret. You'd make flint jealous.

Talking G.I. Joe With John Barber « The Comixverse
There was a thread here in News And Rumors with a link but it never got front paged. The thing I found most interesting, and pertaining to this group here, was that the IDW Joes are really organized into squads. We've seen some hints of this in the comics, but it's been confirmed. Duke's group (currently headed by Flint well Duke recuperates) consists of: Duke Beachhead Roadblock Tripwire Harddrive and I forget who else. They're Alpha team. Team Foxtrot is: Snake Eyes Helix Iceberg Alpine Team Mike was led by Barbecue and died in Cobra Civil War #0 I also, hopefully, got the ball rolling on a possible new Order Of Battle. At least got them thinking about the idea, lol.

Anyway, they're all flying down to Sierra Gordo in a C-130, and they've got an AWE Striker in the back of the plane with them. I think it was Lt. Gorky who commented that for a "Top Secret Special Forces unit, it was weird how the Joe Team always painted it's colorful logo all over the sides of it's vehicles". This little joke about the toys always cracked me up. So, I figured if the Joe Team was all about "blinging out" their vehicles, that they would be authorized to wear every badge/tab they earned, no matter how ridiculous. So... my uniform has a CRAZY amount of patches. The worse part was paying to get everyone of those patches sewn on at the cleaners... and then she would make a mistake (the patch would be upside down, or in the wrong location), and she would have to redo it. That uniform took me nearly a year to put together, but it sure was fun. According to the uniform, Major Knight Owl is a Special Forces Officer with the following qualifications: Jump Master/Airborne, Air Assault, Pathfinder, Master Scuba, Master EOD, BUD/S & SQT (SEAL), Jump Master Halo, Expert Infantryman, Ranger, Sniper, Recondo, Sapper. Foreign Awards include: Jump Wings from the SAS, the Paras, the Royal Marines/SBS, and GSG-9. The Combat Patch on the right shoulder is from Delta Force. Knight Owl does not have his aviation wings because that would be ridiculous for him to be a pilot.... I mean, c'mon ;) Those are Mil-Spec BDU's (the old style from the 80's to the early 2000's), but in Multicam instead of classic woodland. I wanted the uniform to look similar to an 80's Army Uniform, but with a modern update... so I chose a classic style of uniform in a modern camo pattern... plus I had it altered to move some of the pockets around like SF soldiers did in the 90's. The beret was the best part. I found a lady on-line who made/sold replicas of the black ROC berets from the movie... so I emailed her and asked if she could do a green one with the same logo. Then I had to shave it down and work on it to make it fit/wear properly. Those Jungle Boots are real deal OTB Junglite boots. They are an updated version of the classic Vietnam Jungle boot... I wore them thinking of Flint and Falcon. It was a really fun Halloween. Other than the beret, my favorite part was the name tapes. Having the name tapes that read "G.I. Joe" instead of "U.S. Army" was a lot of fun. Lots of people got a real kick out of that. And the code name: Knight Owl... that was a lot of fun. I've always wanted that to be my code name if I were on the Joe Team. Anyway, glad you liked the Costume. I wear the pants sometimes when I go to the range and shoot. It's always more fun at the range when I do that.

Loose cannon is either a forward observer or ANGLICO so there may be elements of force recon or now MARSOC in his background. He is an O-5.
Other names Hatches Hull Any big cat ie Jaguar, Leopard, Puma, Panther Wolf, Fox, Tracks, Treads, Wheels ,Axle Soundwave, Shortwave, Roughneck, Piledriver, Satchel, Rounds, Tracer, Pretty much any Transformer name not already shared.

I was getting frustrated trying to make Joe work in a way I wanted.
So I decided to not do that anymore. Instead I'd make the concept work the way I wanted. I'm keeping the military unit vs. themed terrorist group, codenames, all that and I'm adding in my secret society, on-their-own unit from my previous stories and adding a lair of mysticism and concepts that will allow Adventure Team to exist and a Cobra-La variation. Taskforce: Alpha - The Direct Action Group aka Dagger Teams was created by the President to combat the secret threat of the Order Of the Dragon and the group that splintered from it, Wyvern. Basically think my first fan fiction but more controlled, more streamlined.
