Otherwise, it does look like the heads on the drivers are pretty much the same and will pop right off... in which case, it won't be any problem to customize a new figure with the new Retaliation heads for Flint and Clutch.

Yeah that's sounds about right. I just wish they'd expand the filecards more. Well at least they put birthplaces back on the filecards which was my biggest gripe.
I'm liking most of the vehicles too aside from the Ninja AWE. I'm sort of liking the new plane and I agree the Ninja VAMP looks good. Is it true the Drivers will have limited articulation. I would like to get a closer look at the drivers. Rock'n'Roll I mean Clutch looks good. Flint will be recast as someone else. He looks decent enough, to be just about anyone. Yeah, the birthplaces on the 7 packs were an improvement. It was also nice for me to see the Renegades combined with the Marauders. The Marauders were always a little understaffed, and there's really no reason for Sgt. Slaughter to lead 2 seperate sub-teams. But there is still a lot of room for improvement in the filecards.

There's still 14 more movie items to be revealed, I'm sure we'll get a Lady Jaye, Flint, etc..
I'll be at Toy Fair, look for my reports on Saturday. I'll post where they'll be closer to the event. But yeah, it's not 100% confirmed, but the general consensus is that the vehicle travels lack full articulation. Hasbro said in a couple q&as that they might be going this direction and that only characters that need full (ankles, wrists, all, etc..) will get it. The ninjas all have it. The other figures lack ankle and wrist. Vehicle drives have none.

No one is quite sure why they didn't just reuse molds for the drivers, or even just go and do straight repaints.
It is kind of baffling. But it is just the drivers who just get stuck behind the wheel, so if it was going to happen, I'm glad it's with the drivers. Isn't going to stop me from getting a couple of the Combat Cruisers and getting 'em repainted. That thing is just bad-ass.

They need to fix it. There is still time. I am ok if its only the motorcycle drivers that need stupid articulation. Hoping flint is released single carded.

Well, maybe it will just be for the movie toys. I know Blackrazor compared it to the Captain America Toys, and those were move tie-ins as well. Maybe by Christmas, we'll get back to regularly produced Joes - something like POC - and we'll get reguarly articulated figures back.
This situation reminds me a bit of the BTR figures, characters like Hollow-Point and High-Tech. Their articulations wasn't bad for the time, but the "lego style" bumps on their arms and legs made them stick out from the rest of the Joes. I've always liked Hollow-Point and I've always wished that they had offered a "regular" version of him and High-Tech. But to have Joes without knees or elbows... it's like something from Fun Skool. It's just sad. It's like they're not even Joes. They're basically like the stupid figures from Chap Mei that come from the True Heroes at TRU. Especially the Flint... what's he supposed to do when he's not on the motorcycle?

I want that Clutch and Flint with full articulation. Head swaps will abound.
