I just added some more. Yes, Spook is Cobra. Here are some FC and pic links. Mudslinger is apparently a Cobra though.

So I need to come up with a cool name for my Artillery Vipers. Cobra has a different viper for just about every speciality--Tele, Techno, SAW, Flak, etc--except artillery. In fact the only trooper that even comes close to filling that role is WORMS. So I'd like to create a name that reflects that branch.
Here's a few I came up with so far, but not really loving em: Ballistic Viper Bore Viper Cannon Viper Kinetic Viper Shell Viper Trajectory Viper (doesn't roll off the tongue very well) If you think of any good ones, let me know. That just sounds dirty...

I was gonna suggest barrage vipers or volley vipers but in looking for ideas i came across this page- Artillery Terms and Tactics which made me think Fusiliers. Turns out that Fusiliers are actually a term for infantry troops.
I really like the name though and might use it for MARS artillery troops. Iron Grenadiers, Ferrous Fusiliers, ??? Dragoons |

Sounds cool for a new MARS vehicle.
I still like Gun-Vipers. It's just simple. But What are the W.O.R.M.S suppose to be? http://www.yojoe.com/filecard/87/worms.shtml They need an update!

So I think I got my Joeverse forces set up, at least Cobra and the other terrorist organizations, still working out the Joe's command structure but I got all the Joes I'm going to have.
Still have some support staff and Naval staff spots to fill, but those will end up being Greenshirts as far as story goes, unnamed guys in the background. I went with Noori Syndicate for Khalikhan's group, since that is what Yo Joe called 'em. With Khalikhan I have: Renegades Troopers as his army Shiver Riptide (custom) Slice Dice Odi Satori Professor Orizama Colonel Sharif Spook

Nice. What will you do, if anything, with Iron Klaw?

I'm not sure what to use as SKAR troopers, probably a variation of what they are now, but SKAR will consist of:
Iron Klaw General Blitz Madame Umbra Crispo Paine Desade Paine Torquemada Paine Colonel Calvin

I already have a Joe named Loose Cannon so I don't want to confuse him with Cobra on the battlefield. ;)
Now if only I could get a figure named after me... Shell-Viper is what I'm leaning toward. Quote:

Has everyone seen this?
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ers-1980s.html Must admit, I only read it for the first time yesterday. Very Interesting reading. Lots of interesting tidbits like how Hama had Duke having served with MACV-SOG and I like how he used some old marvel writers and staff as USAMC Psych profilers (Archie Goodwin, Denny O'Neill, Al Milgrom). |
