I pre-ordered the 'Noks set, myself. The only thing that interests me about the Marauders is the weapons and gear that come with it. It's not enough to justify the buy. With those colors, they should be paying me to order it.

So who crews the 50 grizzlies?
I sort of have this problem with my say 400 character Joe team. I have say 250 vehicles. Some only need one crewman and some need 11 like the Rolling Thunder. Plus so many vehicles are piloted by the same driver. This is why It's mostly green shirts/Steel Brigaders around the central Joe Team. The hardest team for me to fit in are the Snow Joes. THere is almost never any reason to bring them along. I use the Battle FOrce 2000 guys but They are part of Tony Starks experimental weapons team. So even though I never refer to them as BF2000 they pretty much are. Artillery works mostly the same way. My Joe Artillery is pretty big. Major Barrage is the JoeArty Commander, which covers 2 Thunderclaps and 2 Rolling Thunders. as well as a SLAM and some other smaller Artillery pieces. It's mostly staffed by Green Shirts, but any Joes who have Artillery qualifications are part of the unit as section leaders. In my Joeverse, Steel Brigade is my main Urban force, commanded by Major Bullet Proof. It's huge.

The Falcon from the 7-pack is cool just for the head... I'm getting the head and just custom building a new/better body.

The Marauders was always such a weird subset, that didn't seem to really serve a specific function. I didn't care for any of the Hasbro Marauders figures, I thought they were pail imitations of their originals with more fragile thumbs.
A few years ago I put together a new Marauders team using customs. The team is led by Hit n Run, and consits of Budo; Ballistic; Point Blank; Sneak Peak. I also plan on adding Repeater and (maybe) Tripwire to ranks as well. Marauders Subset | Flickr - Photo Sharing! They specialize in counter-guerilla warfare tactics, and quick hit and run operations deep behind enemy lines. My question for everyone is: What role do the Marauders play in your Joeverse? My apologies if this has been covered in the previous pages, I haven't quite gotten through all the pages yet!

Well, mostly Green Shirts... Steeler is a Major in my Joeverse and he's the overall Armor Commander. The other Tank Drivers like Thunder, etc., are all Armor platoon leaders.

In my Joeverse, Steel Brigade is my main Urban force, commanded by Major Bullet Proof. It's huge. My whole Joe Force exists around the Majors: Major Storm; Bullet-Proof; Claymore; Duke; Stone (Extreme) Barrage; Maj Buckingham(Eagle from Action Force); Ace; Ghoststriker; Cutter; Rapid-Fire; Dutch

The Marauders: They don't exist in mine.
Although it's more of a "I don't have them, so why bother" than a "because it's stupid." |

He commands all my Support/Logistics elements. I know he's technically trained in Artillery, but it's his secondary MOS, so I figure he was branch detailed to Artillery as a young officer and then transferred to Transportation. That's why he's a driver. Besides that, my dad was a Transportation/Logistics officer, so I always have to figure out how the Joe Logistics work. Major Storm is basically the Joe Team G-4/MATO.

In my Joeverse, Falcon commands all the Sub Teams... so having a Marauders version of Falcon is PERFECT for my Joeverse. Seriously, sometimes I think Hasbro reads this thread and says, "That OliverBox is really onto something!"

I totally agree! The Equalizer is among my all time favorites! I wish I had at least one more of those and maybe two of the Armadillo.
