I do have a question for those of you who have the smaller scale helicopters and aircraft. Do you only use the seats in the aircraft or do you use the imaginary seating of the official capacity of the aircraft? Like for example: the True Heroes UH-60, do you use the 8 seats, or the 14-16 in real life stats?
One thing that always bothered me was when the cartoon or even the comics added seats to take a shortcut in the storytelling. Like the Sky Strikers would hold three or four Joe's in the old Sunbow cartoon, or in the DDP comic run when a Locust is sent to investigate approaching Cobra planes, the chopper is holding two pilots. Why not send two Locusts, or just one Dragonfly. The worse was in the GI Joe novel, Sultan's Secret: The Conquest is referenced as being a transport jet instead of a single seat fighter jet. That may sound nitpicky, but that always drove me crazy...even as a kid.

In GI Joe #1, Zap had training in flying helicopters, and he's the pilot who gets them off of Cobra's Island. Zap must have done that as a civilian, otherwise, wouldn't he at least be a WO? I'm surprised the Army didn't keep pushing him to be a pilot.

I've always used the actual seating capacity in my jets and attack choppers. Sometime I take the seats out of the Tommahawk if I want to fit more troops in, and I removed the rear seats in my Forces of Valor HH-65 Dolphin to give some room to the crew and patient.

Currently, my vehicles roster is: 2 AWE Strikers, 4 World Peacekeepers Humvees (with 2 additional Transport Humvees), 3 of those WalMart The Corps vehicles I use as VAMP 4500 and 2 ROC VAMPS, I call the VAMP 3500, and then the orginal VAMP as the VAMP 1500. A Toys R Us Police Command Van, "The Ensign Cutter" (Toys R Us Navy boat) commanded by Lt Cutter. Then my Rotary Wing "Flight" an AH-6, MH-6, UH-60 and a UH-65 Tomahawk, (It's what I call my World Peacekeepers Aerial Rocket Helo HH-65 camo) and the Toys R Us C-130. Yet, my 100 Cobra troops right now are all Infantry. LOL. MAS-X (Mobile Armored Strike-eXperimental), is led by Matt Trakker with the RHINO, Jackhammer (Steel Crusher), Snow Cat, Ice Dagger, 2 Armadillos, Dragon hawk and Tiger Rat. Still debating about the 2 Sky Hawk's I have. Are they watercraft or aircraft? I do have a question for those of you who have the smaller scale helicopters and aircraft. Yeah, I just dont have the space or the money for actual scale helicopters. I was wondering who for their joe-verse picked up the True Heroes UH-60 and The Big Lots "World Peacekeepers" ARH Aerial Rocket Helicopter HH-65 and used the "real" capacity of the aircraft or if they use the capacity of the replica. 'Cause I sure cant fit 11 troops inside my Blackhawk, but it would allow the "Battle Corps Rangers" back in the air.

I'm not familiar with the comics, but what you're saying about Zap is a little off. Even if he had civilian helo training, he'd be risking his freedom, career, or maybe even his life (from being shot) just jumping into a bird and taking off. On the other hand, if he managed to get into one, no one else was available, and there was a great need for a helicopter, AND he saved the day, then he might get commended. There would be an investigation, and probably some jail time, even if the end result was in his favor. It always depends on the sit.

The way it was worded made it sound like Zap was a chopper pilot before he was a bazooka trooper.
For something like the PTE Blackhawk, I "imagine" it as having the real seating capacity, since it's modeled on a real thing. Something like the Tomahawk would have seating equivalent to what it would have if it was real sized and real. So yeah, I don't use what is physically there. My Joe force, I try, to keep to what I can "field". I don't have multiples of vehicles so there would be alot of "pretend" involved. And I lot of vehicles I do have wouldn't be used because my Joe team is more of a rapid response/fast action unit. No heavy armor, no fighter jets.

Well I just saw the new filecards for the Maurauders and Dreadnoks. Terrible, just terrible. They're like 3 sentences long. The codenames are a mess, but I can deal with that. The screwed up Mercer's birthplace as Taos NM. I guess Spirit and Mercer were neighbors? I think they gave this to an 8 year old to compile. "He's good at hiding and sneaking up on people." I would rather they just copy the original than this.

I didn't bother reading them. Didn't want to be disappointed.
Looking forward to adding Red Dog, Taurus and Mercer to my ranks. Falcon will get renamed. Low-Light, Spirit, Barbecue will just be stored away.
