Confession. It's still the epitome of cool. I have no idea why I included the "when I was 8" part. I would slap the Jolly Rogers decals on and fly them off my picnic table Flagg today if I could.

"That sounds dangerous! Launch every weapon we have! In fact shoot your side arms at it too and when you run out of bullets, throw your side arms at it 1950's Superman villian style!" I needed that.

Good man. Everyone needs to buy at least one, two if you can. For four years we whined about how they needed to release a 25th Anniversary Skystriker, and now that they are here they are just piling up at Toys R Us. I got mine; now go get yours, people, before Hasbro looks at their collectors customers and says "What a bunch of ingrates. Why do we even bother to entertain these people?"
Of course, it would serve them right for releasing five hundred ninety-three iterations of 25th anniversary Snake-eyes, four hundred thirty-two Cobra Commanders, and only two rare-as-hell 25A versions each of SGT Slaughter and Zarana.

Man I go to bed and see what I miss.
I forgot about the Dreadnaught-Tuna Connection. I tend to get disconnected with the story since I go so long between issues. I think Shipwreck mentions it crews 400. Although I can't remember it's aircraft capabilities, but it definitely has a landing pad for a helicopter. I'd love to see the dimensions and schematics.

So it appears that the leaked list of club figures is proving accurate, which means we should see Sure Fire and Barrel Roll. So how would you guys like to see the file cards done?
I wouldn't mind if they did away with the glider aspect of BR's qualifications and redesignated him solely as a USAF Security Force's Sharpshooter (or Counter Sniper if you can offically call it that). As for Sure Fire, I'd love to see him demoted and made as the team leader of a Special Reaction Team. I also hope they go with a look that more closely resembles version 1 so Law has somesome to pair up with. Quote:
The glider wont' bother me I guess...
I do have a glider/jet pack scout/sniper team with Starduster, Barrell Roll (currently using Duke from the Resolute 5 pack) and RoC Grand Slam. Grand Slam is the spotter. Barrell Rolll is the sniper. Starduster is the security. So adding tan grunt won't be bad and a "real" Barrell Roll will allow me to make the 5 pack Duke into someone else.

I think about this every time I see a bunch sitting on the shelf. I bought 2. I want to buy 1 or 2 more and paint it black but am afraid Hasbro will do it a little while after and then I will be pissed. :o) Last edited by Gatchaman; 10-22-2011 at 05:23 AM.. |

I feel the same way about the 30th Steel Brigades. I want to buy a bunch of them and paint them green, and then swap out the heads from some of the 25th figures I have, especially the O-13 standard uniform guys. Watch - as soon as I do that they will release an O-13 or greenshirt box set. Another problem is that I don't see as many SBs on the pegs as, say, 30th Vipers and Iron Grenadiers.
