Actually it wouldn't work because they're only getting one length of rope. Maybe they could make a human ladder...but that would require "cooperation". Last edited by Tanksmasher; 04-21-2011 at 01:10 PM.. |

Troynos, I just read the reused toy mold article on that kitty pryde site, pretty cool stuff. Did you write that?

Just to re-iterate, what do we think proves that he has military training? Certainly he's worked for the CIA, KGB, etc., but does that really require him to have military training.
He just doesn't seem to me to be the type of chap who would conform to a military sort of lifestyle, but perhaps he served when he was much younger. I could see him serving in a WW2 OSS sort of role/unit i.e. unconventional and non-conformist (and that might just about work with the times for the original Marvel run) but not sure about a modern equivalent. |

I see him as joining the military to get out of his village in Alaska, see the world. And somewhere along the way he developed his system of honor.

Not really, no. But CIA Clandestine Service positions very highly recommend prior combat arms (preferably SOF or SF) or military intelligence experience for acceptance, and prior SF/SOF experience is a requirement if applying for the Service's paramilitary operations officer positions. I imagine that they'd have similar requirements for contractors (like Kwinn) doing the kind of "ungentlemanly warfare" jobs that are so "radioactive" that they don't want their paramilitary operations officers directly doing them.
