So while the interstellar-B.A.T.s story-line was a little far-fetched (and afair pretty pointless, I'll have to re-read to remember), I think they could have been useful additions to the GI Joe roster - I mean kids (and me!) like space, low orbit/moon missions could have made for some decent and reasonably believable storylines IMO (but I'm an engineer), and I don't think I ever saw an Astroviper in the comic, such a shame.... |

I don't think successful completion of the full Ft. Bragg SOF medic course is required for a 68W to get into the 75th Ranger Regiment. With all the changes to entry requirements to the Regiment in recent years with the addition of its own Special Troops Battalion (which doesn't require RASP), I wouldn't be surprised if RASP is no longer required for regiment medics. I think a fair number of ranger medics would probably be at least flight medic-qualified, though (goes hand-in-hand with being a medic in an airborne unit).

Hey Filecard Brethern, as Oliver calls us...
Thanks to Darth_Henning (aka Lifeline_MD), who pointed this link out to me. TNI, which got better and more pictures then any other site, has pictures of some of the upcoming filecards: 2011 G.I.Joe Con: Hasbro Day 1 Images - GI Joe - ToyNewsI.com

From what I understand, it looks like STTs function either as an 18-man Tactical Team or a 9-man Recovery Team, each of which can be broken down into multiple 3-man elements. So three men per team seems like the smallest unit, but I don't suppose you'd have an SOWT, CC and PJ working together as one element, would you?

Hawk is an O-7, Brigadier General, and a West Point Grad with "special education credits as long as his arm".

Would it be bad if I took Kwinn's head off and replace it with Cutter. For an 80's correct Navy officer's look? Or maybe use Kwinn as a lower paygrade LCdr Keelhaul?
Still think Pathfinder is an awesome SOWT with a grey beret. [POC Beachhead body and Cobra Flint head with goggles]. What's happening to ROC Law (TRU Exclusive) in your joe-verse now that POC Law is coming?
