Any and all.
This is the unit you send on a mission and you don't hear anything until they come back home again. You send these guys in when you just know "target is here" and nothing else. They improvise on the fly, develop tactics on the fly, etc..

I like replacing Outback with Big Brawler. The team doesnt' really need a true survival expert. They are all trained for that.
I'm thinking of adding Lady Jaye to the team as well. Crossfire and Crosshair are good additions. I need to make some Big Brawler, Crossfire and Crosshair figures... Others: Beachhead Spearhead Sneak Peek Spirit or Dart Custom figures: Medivac (a PJ, just makes sense to have a PJ as medic I think) Six-Gun (heavy weapons) |

Flint is a must, but just off the top of my head how could Stalker not be in a unit like that? Flint Stalker (Medic,Interpreter,Explosives,Intel) I agree about Big Brawler - I think he's definately SF Spirit is a solid choice: tracker, recon, silent weapons. I think you need to diversify a little bit... A PJ character is a good choice What about a SEAL? A Marine?

All the points you guys brings up about Flint are pretty good. I suppose he could go several routes depending on when you have him join the service and what role you want him to play for the Joes.
I envision him as a gifted student who excels in school and athletics. After his post graduate studies at Oxford he decides to enlist rather than get a commission for reasons similar to Duke's and volunteers for Special Forces and later Ranger School. After serving his time with SF and earning the rank of E-6, he feels unchallenged, even bored, and volunteers for Warrant Officer School. He excells in flight school, flies Blackhawks with a conventional helicopter unit for a bit and then volunteers for the 160th SOAR. Shortly after, Delta gets word of his credentials, combat experience and exceptional education and recruits him for their personal aviation unit, but after a brief period with Delta Flint gets tired of being an "air-taxi driver" and wants to kick down doors so he volunteers for the Joes' infantry WO program. His PMS reverts back to infantry and he serves as a technical expert on a special hostage-rescue, counter-terrorism, CQB unit with the Joes! Duke of course is envious, gets in a "whose is longer" contest, and a bitter rivalry ensues... |

Don't forget you're gonna need a backup "B Team" that can do everything these guys can do and due to budget restraints that leaves only room for one man to do the job: Snake Eyes.

I guess it all boils down to each fan's Joeverse, and how they interpret the file card info, and what options each fan envisions the Joe's offering. I've always seen Flint as a Commando/SF Operator who could fly a helicopter when he needed to.

All those guys are good. To me, if you need a unit that is capable of anything, then you need a lot of well-rounded guys with diverse skills...
