Call me late to the party, but I never knew Rampart was Navy! In my defense though, by the time he was released I had passed my Joes on to my little brother and was chasing girls.

they just need more Navy (and Marine Corps) guys. Period.
I find it hard to believe that with all the medics over the years not one of them could have been a Corpsman. Rampart- I love the figure but have never thought of him as Navy. Seems like such a waste that they wrote that into his filecard. I agree that if you want to be a purist and keep him Navy that being a gunner or weapon systems operator is the most likely role for him to fill. Disappointed that they made Night Fox a SeAL as well. Why not give him a boat instead of the AWE? they could have made a lot of people happy by releasing him with an updated Devilfish. What I'd like to see is a new WHALE or Joe Moray for Cutter, sailor Shippy, sailor Rampart (Reticle?) to operate as a platform for Topside and his VBSS team or the SeALs. I'd even settle for the 2004 Piranha if they'd make it a little bigger. |

I've never had an interest in making a custom of Rampart. But knowing that he's a Navy Missile Defense guy changes that for me. I just recently obtained a nearly complete TTBP (only missing one of the missiles). Can you guess who's going to be in charge of missile defense?
Now off to the SDS website for one of those nicely sculpted "Part-Ram" heads... |

Funny that you should chime in right when you did! Guess who else will be serving aboard my TTBP? LOL - Do you have a choice of assignment?
In all seriousness, though - it will be a while before I start this. I'm about halfway through a Skystriker restoration and a re-design of the Tiger Rat. On the bright side, my Badger is almost done! |

As of now, the only watercraft I am planning is to have my Devilfish moored close to the ladder. That doesn't mean I won't add more - I just have plans to yet. I'm thinking of putting Rampart in the Command Center because it overlooks the missile platform and I'm sure those would be controlled from within the CC. Right now, this is all just in my head. I'll prolly hit you guys up for more as I get closer to actually working on it! |

-Flint -Lady Jaye -Barbecue -Airtight -Footloose -Clutch -Steeler -Grunt This week I finally rented and watched the library's copy of "The Green Zone". I started to think about Flint's prior Special Forces role before becoming an XO on an A-Team. Looking at the Tiger Force Filecard of Flint, His 2nd MOS is Demolitions. So could it be possible during his enlisted time in Special Forces he was an Engineer Sergeant (18C)?

That's a good question. What MOS did Flint have in Special Forces? I'd say 18C is a good choice based on the TF file card.

That's a question I hadn't really thought of, but with "demolitions" it makes perfect sense. I suppose it didn't take him too long to get picked up for Warrant Officer school - and wouldn't that mean requalifying as an 18A?
