1500!
It's been a pleasure gentlemen. 2 years and going strong. Well it's starting to feel like a long time. Love the boat Troy, but it's missing a nice gun on the bow. How much those go for? All the toys mentioned are great choices. I think my VAMP got the most play. Then the Skystriker blew me away as did the Dragonfly. But I also got the HQ and the APC and a HISS tank and a FANG that Christmas so I love them all. The WHALE is an awesome toy as is the Tomahawk. EDIT My vote goes to the VAMP! the only toy I still have from the get-go with no losses and no broken parts. I own at least one of everything aside from a few of the larger playsets and everything took a hit somehow. (Until 87) P.S. I'm also a big fan of the standard Armadillo. Can't break that either.

My vote goes to the AWE. As a kid I had both VAMPS, a Japanese one and an Action Force one (w Hunter) but the Striker was the one that always got alot of play.
My Favourite tank is / was the Snow Cat, maybe because it was my first vehicle but it has always held a nice place in my collection. For me the most misunderstood was the HAVOC. As a kid I played with it, but even as a kid I thought having an exposed driver seat was lame :( |

Without getting too much into the social psychology of things, I think a number of enlisted men will always have some level of resentment or distrust towards young second lieutenants/ensigns. A big part of platoon-level esprit de corps is the sense of camaraderie between personnel, and a lot of that is built on the shared experiences of "coming up" through the enlisted ranks. The overwhelming majority of young second lieutenants, whether they come from ROTC, OCS, or an Academy, are excluded (whether in fact or through misperception) from many of those shared experiences. But that resentment and distrust is almost always transitory... enlisted men and women will trust their officers if those officers prove themselves to be worthy of that trust over time. As a kid, I don't think I ever played with anyone who actually liked the HAVOC. When it came to choosing vehicles for those big playground battles, it was always left out (although the mini-hovercraft it comes with was always popular). |

Yeah I can only see the HAVOK functioning if say it was more of a Self-Propelled Gun, alternate command post with the Recon Hovercraft. And the missles and the short guns for bunker busting? The Battle bunker is way better for this purpose.

From memory it's supposed to be a Heavy Articulated Vehicle - Ordnance Carrier.
Where the hell is the ordnance supposed to go? Maybe if you take out the hovercraft ???? |

Never liked the Havoc. Cross Country would make a good Stryker driver.
Loose, I forget what it went for. Got it from JC Penny. I want to put the Pirahna's mini-guns onto it, but not sure how.

I got a 20% off Friends & Family weekend type coupon for JC Penny. The blackhawk is on the list to get.
