I hear you Tank. It seems like there isn't too much on the horizon that hasn't been touched. None of us has taken it upon ourselves to do a strictly Re-filecard Gallery Thread.
Maybe I'll start one today and ask everyone to resubmit any thing we may have done in the past to get it going. Two questions which I'm sure some of you may have given some thought to. 1. Does anyone plan on making Scarlet a Lieutenant as she will be protrayed in Renagades? 2. Do you think the Joes would be better served recruiting whole teams of specialist instead of one Marine here, one SEAL there, a couple of Green Berets sprinkled on top? I suppose we all sort of try to do this, and it can be sort of cut and dry when you put them together. But if a real experimental unit was being formed which teams would you want? Imagine they have endless budget and support to be deployed anywhere at a moments notice. Worldwide. I suppose I'd need a few teams of everything, but I suppose I'd get just one team each of the top units, and then I'd still end up with a cobbled together team of urban\Close Quarters Combat specialists. Ideally, I think the Joe Team would recruit the best qualified individuals with multiskill sets from all branches but then have specialized teams like the SF or SEALs have. Everybody can do a HALO jump or a dive, for example, but some teams train more for certain missions. Torpedo and Wet-Suit are obviously on my Dive/SEAL team, but other Joes like SE or Low-Light or Flint can accompany them. All Special Ops Joes go through all of the training courses: Arctic Warfare, Dive School, Sniper School, Demolitions, CQB, Jungle Warfare, Mountain Warfare, Desert Warfare, Amphibious Warfare, Advanced Weapons, Escape & Surival, HALO/HAHO, Tactical Driving, Air Assault... But one team will continue to specialize and train in Desert Warfare or Amphibious Warfare, etc. They all need to be well-rounded and capable of performing multiple functions in case a member or two is injured or killed so that the mission can still be completed. One team I've put together is a CQB/Urban Battle Team designed after the Marines Special Reaction Team. Entry Element: Team Leader - Sure Fire Pointman/Breacher - Wreckage First Assaulter - Shockwave Second Assaulter - Barricade Rear Security - Mirage Cover Element: Sniper - Wide Scope Observer/Spotter - Bullhorn |

Does the Army embrace the use the term Pointman as much as say the Marines? When I hear pointman I think Marine, Well I think Spearhead, but then I think Marine.

Yeah, pointman, I think, is a fairly universal term. The SEALs, Marines and Army all use the term for the team member that scouts ahead of the group.

Yeah I know. I guess I'm trying to find Army Joes to convert to Marines to make a 14 Man MARSOC team.

So I just received my Pile of Loot from BBTS. It's been building up since April or May. I think it was 70 figures totat (JOES, SW, MU, & A-Team) I love all the Vehicles even the A-Team Van. But getting 3 Snake-Eyes, 2 Destros, 2 Cobra Commanders, 3 Strom Shadows, 2 Fireflys, 2 Zartans is just ridiculous. I can't even enjoy them. And I don't have enough extra heads to kitbash with.

I have the same thing when I buy from EBay, takes ages for stuff to turn up and then it all turns up at the same time. The other problem I have, which I've finally accepted rather than getting frustrated (whether it's buying a book or DVD because I'm interested in the topic, or Joes because I want to make some customs) is that my interest may well move on in the meantime, so I just have to just put them aside for when that particular interest comes back. |

Nice Tanksmasher. I like the part of him being noticed by Keel-Haul. Where do Air bosses typically rank in the pecking order aboard an Aircraft Carrier?
What's Pri-Fly? (Never-mind Googled it!) But now it opens up to the 200+ officers on an aircraft carrier. Who is the most important enlisted man on an Aircraft Carrier? I once went on the USS Enterprise when it came to port, and we got a tour by a Master Chief. He down played his role on the ship. I think he was a Quartermaster type of guy. I wasn't sure I was like 11. But he seem to get a lot of attention from every sailor he passed through the ship.
