I can't remember if someone said they ever got one. But from a fan who loved GIJoe, I didn't want there to be a flaw, so if something was noticed and Marvel admitted to it then that was that. I can't remember any huge glaring errors caught by no-prizes.

Didn't Oliver get a no-prize in one of the Marvel issues? I thought his name was mentioned.

I completely agree. If they just made some attempt to let us know what the new Rank structure for these characters is, that would help me. I don't need for Keel-Haul to be a Admiral in the new continuity - I would just like to know if he is, in fact, a SEAL and what is his rank? I would have loved to have seen Tracker show up.

No, I only ever sent in one letter. It did get published, but it was during the G.I. Joe Extreme Comic by Dark Horse or whoever it was that published it. I never got a no-prize from Marvel, and the flaws I pointed out were just sort of casually "explained away" after they severly edited my letter... I can't really blame them. Y'all know how long winded I can get.

I wouldn't even mind if it was one of those moments like the cartoon when Shipwreck and Dial-Tone and Lifeline get placed in charge. Beachhead wanted to be the boss, but Flint put him in his place. And although it made no sense from a rank stand point, we knew first it was Hawk then Duke then Flint and then Beachhead although it seemed like Sgt Slaughter was above Beachhead as well, since he was one of the leaders to be called away.
As far as I see it, and this is based on absolutely nothing but sheer Conjecture; HAWK 0-8 (Maybe higher, but he has to outrank Keel-Haul) Keel-Haul 0-8 (He is wearing his rank in #20) Scarlett 0-4? (Much of the officer staff postions as 0-3s) such as: Doc Lifeline(seems to be a MD) Brainstorm Labrat Ace? (0-3 Probably) Torpedo WO-4 Flint WO-2 E-9 Stalker (Just because) E-8 Ripcord Duke (has probably moved up by now) E-7 Shipwreck Leatherneck E-6 Beachhead Snow Job Deep-Six

Well I sent IDW an email a couple of days ago explaining their errors (very politely) - we'll see if they re-instigate the no-prize, or even better just try to make the non-future-tech parts of the physics in their run more realistic.

yeah rank in the idwuniverse is difficult to gauge, my take is
Hawk O-8 Keel-Haul O-7, or O-6 Scarlett O-2 or O-3 Doc O-3 Lifeline(seems to be a MD) O-3 Brainstorm O-2 Labrat O-2 or O-3 Ace 0-3 Torpedo WO-4 Flint WO-2 E-9 Stalker Duke E-8 Ripcord E-7 Shipwreck Leatherneck E-6 Beachhead Snow Job Deep-Six |

I don't think Keel Haul is that high in the IDWverse.
Shipwreck is mission leader and sub commander.

I agree Keel-Haul doesn't seem that high, but if you look closely in Issue #20 he has Two Stars on his Shoulder Boards.
2 stars = RADM Upper Half I've only seen Hawk with one Star but he might have 4 stars. I'm missing some of the early issues. I was trying to see about Stalker, since he's wearing a uniform at Snake-Eyes' Funeral, but it probably doesn't show.
