Hey Loose,
I remember mailing away for my Starduster with the cereal coupon but didn't remember the GI Joe cereal until you mentioned it. But I can't remember what the heck was in it! Was it any good? |

Does anyone else include the Marvel Universe Figures in your Joeverse. I'm liking a lot of them and most of them I can find a home but then occasionally I can't. Or I switch them from bad or good guys. But right now it all seems to be driven by Iron man tech.
Really this is a topic for another thread but I was thinking about Guardian who I have working for Destro. Sort of goes against the character. Maybe I should start another thread. |

Loose, Mr. T cereal was AWESOME. It tasted like Cap's Crunch. I pity the fool who didn't enjoy it.

Tank the joe Cereal wasn't great if I remember.
Do you remember this: (Check out the video it has Starduster in it) G.I. Joe Action Stars Cereal - Mr Breakfast.com They say it was like lucky charms without the Marshmallows. I thought it was more like Capn Crunch without the Crunch.

Never heard of the cereal but back in 1987, Australia had GI Joe Ice Cream.
The object was to collect 10 or 20 of the sticks (can't remember how many) then you could send away for a Fridge figure. Okay, now no one knew who the hell the Fridge was (we didn't get regular NFL broadcasts till the mid 90's) but he was a Joe and that summer I ate an insane amount of figures to get 3 figures (they only sent 2 after all) :( |

guess not. if you were going to rename him what would it be? i've always thought both names were kinda weak. Also, I prefer the original version to the updates. I don't like when the figures have the same color shirt and pants- need some contrast to break it up.
if we're done talking about Starduster I'd like to suggest Steel Brigade be next. I only have the original and not the 3 pack that was released later so for me he was always a single trooper with the codename Phoenix. He was an Air Force PJ before I knew what that was. I wanted him to be cool (Spec Ops) but also wanted him to be in the Air Force (my dad was). Because of this and that they had similar body parts and came out around the same time he shared "Most Prized Joe" status with Starduster. Nowadays even though I dont like generic Joes I would be tempted to army build Steel Brigade just because he's such a cool figure and the parts are readily available to do several different variations. |

They need to hurry up and get an update Steel Brigade out there. Te parts are definitely there. Would you prefer a mail away like originally done or troop builder?
Personally I would love both, but the Mail away figure was such a hit for me. Still a troop builder set with maybe one gold headed team leader would be awesome too.
