Not quite, I actually arrive on the Sunday it finishes. I was wondering why I couldn't easily/cheaply get a room booked from the Saturday until I realised that was on!

Speaking of comics, you like how I did that lol, come on over and check out Kitty's Pryde: Kitty's Pryde | comic reviews/previews/editorials & discussion - portal
Darth Henning's fanfic has moved there and if you're a comics fan, it's the new place to be. BTW, I've been sitting on Hearts & Minds for a week now, when I got my preview copies. I can't wait to see what everyone thinks of the change IDW made. I review it on the Pryde, will add to the 'Tank later, and have the preview.

He's the most undisciplined, disrespectful, ridiculous soldier I've ever seen portrayed in an elite unit. And to be honest, in the 4th season, his acting is so bad that it's almost laughable. I think he raised his eyebrow to say every line he was given. Seriously, it's AMAZING how good the first 2 Seasons were, and then how AWFUL the last season was... those last 3 episodes are difficult to watch. You could drive a truck through those plot holes. And it all started going downhill when they added the woman to the team.

The only one of the 4 titles that I really like is G.I. Joe: Cobra. The main series takes WAY too long to tell a story. Origins is boring. and Hearts & Minds is boring too. So I'm giving serious consideration to the notion of keeping my subscription to the Cobra series, and subscribing to the ARAH series, and that's it. The rest is just uninteresting to me.

I've been disappointed in H&M so far. They're good little stories but there's a huge disconnect between them and the main Joe title. They don't seem like the same characters.
There's nothing to connect the Bludd shown in H&M #1 to the Bludd shown in the recent issues of the main book. There's nothing to make them seem the same characters.

I liked H&M but you're right, there is a disconnect between the characters in one series versus the same in another, but I just chalk that up to the fact that there are multiple writers developing these characters. That's why too many series can detract from what one writer does so well with a character or storyline in a particular series or continuity. Origins, however, is getting slow and boring. Cobra is by far the most interesting.

I'm doing my first ever interview tomorrow and once I get a couple more under my belt I want to try to do one with Andy Schmidt, the Joe editor.
Thats my biggest problem with the IDW-Joeverse is that each title seems it's own universe with nothing to connect them.

The art isn't the issue for me, it's the feel that they are all seperate universes.
The tone of each series can be different, but alot of the time they just don't seem like the same characters.
