1. DVR is a good thing for people with children ;) 2. That file card you posted the other day for Major James Eagan - that guy should be playing Captain America in the new movie. Holy Crap. I just read the article on that guy - AMAZING!!! He's a living, breathing, anti-terrorist weapon. He's Awesome, and let's face it: that guy looks like Steve Rogers - if Rogers hit the gym, took his vitamins and drank his milk.

If I had a regionless DVD player I would be all set, but "Ultimate Force" is not available in Region 1.

That would be awesome. I would love to check it out. I hate how DVDs have Regions. It just makes buying foreign DVDs SO inconvenient.

As far as my Major Extreme Stone, I just googled Marine Recon Officer and that guy popped up. I wanted Stone to be a Major, so check there. I wanted a guy with blonde hair, so check there. Top it off with the fact that Eagan is basically the real life version of a MARSOC Marine officer, it was a no brainer. I mean look at that guy: I choose Scorpion as a codename, because Eagan receive a Silver Cross for his involvement in Operation Scorpion

Yeah, I think the operation's full name was "Operation: Scorpion Lion" or something awesome like that. I wish we knew more about Major Eagan - Where did he go to school? Where is he from? What did he do before Recon? How tall is he? How much does he weigh?
He looks like like he could tear me in half, and then go out and date any girl he wanted. That guy IS G.I. Joe.

Ultimate Force lasted around 4 seasons. Only 1 season was released on DVD in Australia that I know of. I'll have to track the others down from the UK.
Ultimate Force Ultimate Force - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia follows the adventures of Red (Mobility) troop of (I think) 22 SAS. It mainly revolves around a SSgt who looks like Michael Chiklis. The first season starts with the indoctrination and training program of the SAS and the very few who make it through. Of the 3 that make it in, one is played by the Indian doctor from Heroes. Within the first episode we see the two new recruits (one is sent to Boat Troop) interact with the rest of the troop, go on their first mission (rescuing hostages from a bank) and having to deal with officers (one played by Apollo from BSG) and after action reporters ..they have to account for all their bullets, path of movement and who shot which of the bad guys etc. It's the sort of show that if it had been made in the US or had a much bigger budget would have gone over gang busters. The storylines are fantastic and the acting is gritty and superb but the action sequences whilst seeming very realistic would be much better with a bigger effects budget. During the first season we see them use the Kill House a few times, have arguments with other troops (one leader was played by ex SAS turned author Chris Ryan), stop a CNBR threat etc. It also offers a peek into the signals side of things and some of the drab run of the mill necessary operations things like trying to kill time while those in charge make decisions. They also show how the SAS infiltrate buildings, structures etc. Awesome stuff. Each season (like most Brit shows) only go 6 or so episodes. |

Sea Patrol as in the Aussie series? I never bothered with it because it seemed more soap opera than anything else, then caught an episode in Season 3 and thought it was awesome.
Waiting for it to come down in price over here, it's about $50 -$60 Aus for a box set and that's the price of two other box sets I can get. Sea Patrol Sea Patrol (TV series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

Hi. Sorry haven't been around much. Got a couple projects brewing, as well as house hunting and other things.
Working on a pitch for a Joe Origins: Flint story, that I hope to send out to IDW.
