Been thinking about this for ages and was hoping someone could help me...
I'm setting up my org chart for the PITT. Question 1- If I have the Joes divided into 2 Battalions. An Operational Direct Action BN under General Rey and a Support BN under Gen Flagg, can Flagg be both the Installation (PITT) CO and the BN CO? Question 2- As mentioned previous, I have; Gen Flagg as the installation CO and HQ Battalion CO Col Sharpe as the XO Grunt as the CSM along with the other military staff (J1, J2, J3, J4, C-E etc) I also have a HQ and HQ Company Officer. Is he the same as the garrison commander or are they two different roles in the Command structure.. Hope I'm making sense, it's 3am my time. I'm worn out but can't sleep :( If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Cheers |

A Headquarters company is usually commanded by the Battalion XO.

A One-Zero is the team leader of the recon team which may have 6-9 men. He is always the man with the most experience. Rank means nothing on the team, and many teams with an officer or senior NCO have been led by an E5 with a lot of recon time under his belt. There were usually three Special Forces personnel on the team and 3-6 indigenous mercenaries, like Nungs or Montagnards. The One-One was the SF with the second most recon experience, and then came the One-Two, who sometimes carried the radio, but usually the One-Zero wanted to carry it so that he could quickly call in CAS exactly where he wanted it. When a One-One got enough experience and was considered ready to lead a recon team, he was sent away to advanced recon training (or One-Zero school in Long Thanh).

A typical infantry battalion would have a LT COL as a CO and perhaps a Major as the XO. The Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) of the battalion is really run by a Captain but of course he listens to battalion CO and XO.

So how would the One-Zero training be different?

Alright, so is the file card competition over or what? Have all the submissions been entered? Is Zulu going to judge? What's the deal?

Technically it was never officially started, you guys just started going nuts, lol
Get any final ones you want in, 2 submissions from each person (1 - old joe with new card, 2 - new character). Final deadline will be end of the month, Monday May 31st.

How about 3 catagories?
1. ARAH character remake 2. ROC/POC crap (Needs the most work of all) 3. Custom Character (We've seen a few of these that are great) We could even do a poll for each. Although I would hate to leave out other tankers who may not participate on this thread, but may have good additions.

Three works.
If make a set of rules and guidelines, can open it up to the entire 'Tank.
