My pleasure
I like how you use Iron Klaw and Skar. Btw, did anyone pick up the A-Team : Shotgun Wedding comic? I liked it, it establishes the team as a Spec Ops unit (Special Forces Unit Operational Detachment Alpha: Code named the A-Team). All the members are ex Rangers (Ranger RGT) presumably and they also establish the following specialties: Col Hannibal Smith - Master Strategist / Team Leader Cpl Bosco "BA" Barracus - Mechanical Specialist and Driver Lt Templeton "Face" Peck - Logistics expert / team appropriations specialist Capt HM "Howling Mad" Murdock - Team Pilot it also mentions that BA has been dishonourably discharged and Murdock has been discharged for psychological reasons. First issue was pretty good, action wise and actually tried to make it like a good Joe comic. There's a comic? I can't wait for the figures. I just hope they don't suck. |

My Joes don't have an aircraft carrier, so no Flagg.
I have a fully crewed JHVS, a Mark VI and the Jane which I originally intended to be a JHVS but now it's going to be an old freighter.

You know I spend almost no time thinking about the Flagg and it's crew. It's just sort of there in the distance. They would still need a PIT or some sort of nerve center.

Athena Troops you maybe using? Is the Baroness a serious player on her own or part of MARS? I have the Night Stalkers and PIT Vipers with her and Munitia, but that's it.

After much thought, I've decided on how I'm gonna use the Flagg. In my 'verse, the Flagg will be more a call sign then an actual piece of Joe equipment.
I have a large Joe organization but the sheer size of an aircraft carrier makes it worse. Even trying to use it as a JHSV there's still a crew of 60 plus they don't just travel alone, they're usually escorted by other vessels. So my take is that Keel Haul is a 'Floating' (no pun intended) Flag Admiral who mostly coordinates Joe operations with the USN brass, making sure the Joes get Naval and Naval aviator support when needed and sometimes if a Carrier Group is close to a Cobra situation that requires Joe involvement (above and beyond NAVSPECWAR or JSOF involvement) then he and his small command and control team (maybe a group of 5 or 6, supported by a 4-5 man USMC personal security team) will set up ops onboard the carrier and via presidential directive basically assumes some control of the carrier group for the duration of the mission. So say the USS Kittyhawk is in and around the Horn of Africa and there's a skirmish happening between Cobra and the IG, Keel Haul flies in with his C&C crew and maybe one platoon of Joe Seals, he assumes some control of the carrier group, directing air strikes etc and for the duration of the mission the callsign of the Kitty Hawk becomes the USS Flagg to Joe Ops and US SOCCOM operational command. I don't know how plausible this scenario might be in the real world, but that's how I'm gonna use the Flagg. Trying to create 100-6000 Navy Joes to support the Flagg was becoming a nightmare...not to mention I'll never amass that many troop builders. Yup and not just the US Joes, in Sigma Six, Lt Stone was always portrayed in a red or scarlet beret which in the UK would make him an MP. If he was SAS it should have been beige, if he was a Marine Commando or Special Boat Squad it should've been Green (Dark blue if regular marine).
Considering he was supposed to have been a spy, like James Bond then a Royal Marine Commando would be appropriate The Parachute Regiment | Paras

There could be two versions of Action Force Dusty. The one that appeared in the Battle Action Force comics might have been French while the later toy was Australian. The discrepancy is because there existed two different but related Action Force continuities.

In AE the Baroness goes "wherever there is Mars there is Athena", well it really should be "wherever there is Ares there is Athena". Minerva would be the counterpart with MARS. Athena is the goddess of wisdom, so I'm using it as the Baroness' personal intelligence organization. IG is the military, Athena is the intelligence.

Here's some more mythology knowledge for ya: the astronomy/astrology symbol for Mars (♂) is also the ancient symbol for the element iron. So MARS = Iron (Grenadiers).

That's cool. Now if they'd just gotten their Roman and Greek mythology right in AE...
