Oh yeah, that's right. From 87 to 89 or so I get the years mixed up pretty easily.
So Loose, give us the run down on who all those guys are.

Sorry I wasn't clearer earlier, and thanks for the continued interest in my custom team. I really hope it gets frontpaged when we're done. Anyway, here's where I started... Customizing the 25th/Roc figures isn't as easy as one might think because, as I'm sure you're already aware, not all the leg pieces are interchangeable, and not all the heads are interchangeable. So when I find a new combo that works mechanically and aesthetically, I get really excited... recently, I figured out a way to combine Diver thighs (with the knife and silenced pistol) with combat boot knee/feet. I was extatic. And then I was thinking about a conversation on this Thread from a few days ago: 40% of Delta Force comes from the Ranger Regiment and are not SF qualified. Consequently, 50%-60% of Delta Operators are not SF qualfied. And I've used up nearly every SF character from the "Filecard Thread Approved" list of SF Joes. So I wanted to create a small team of "Delta/ISA" type operators who are not SF guys. So, I came up with the following list of Airborne Rangers, who are not SF qualified, but I still wanted to make cool customs. So with my new "Black Ops" custom Leg combo, and knowing how cool Marine Deadpool's camo looks on Reactive Impact Armor, I came up with a list of Army Ranger characters who are going to be updated into a team of Non-SF Operators. Claymore* Big Brawler* Low-Light* Recoil Dart Muskrat Tunnel Rat Chuckles* Obviously, there is some overlap (*) with the ODA Team, but those guys were never listed as being SF for certain, even though I think there is a strong argument to be made for all of them. They'll all have updated looks, and VERY similar uniforms, but I'm excited about it. I'll use them a lot like my Ghost Squad: Black Ops and Deep Recon. Anyway, thanks for your interest buddy. I want to hear more about those custom figures you showed us. Tell us who is who, and we could use some close up pics. Also, nice background ;)

1989 was even worse. only 6 new characters versus the normal 10 or so. Most of those were lame, I still love em, but DeeJay? |

Inspired by Zulu's work with updating the Joe drivers to Cavalry Scouts, I went ahead and swapped around some parts for some of the most ridiculously colored Vehicle drivers.
See if you can guess who is who: On the left is Cross-Country, I'm not so happy with him. Hardtop cost me a pretty penny so I'm Ok with the Tigerstripe Orange. Giving the orders on the right? AS Gen Flagg gives orders to the Joes in the PITTs Art Gallery, Cross-Country, Long-Range, Skidmark, Backstop, Hot Seat, Armadillo, and Wildcard wonder how Hardtop didn't get the memo about ditching the bright colored uniforms. |

Or will that be your Airborne Team? You have a SEAL team? |

These guys all happen to be Rangers, but my main Ranger Team is a part of my Regular (Non G.I. Joe Special Operations Command: G-SOC) Joe Army. It consists of every Joe with a Ranger Tab who isn't already in a Sub-group. It's led by Captain Grid-Iron. My SEALs are a part of G-SOC, and I have all the Joe SEALs as a part of it. They are stationed on the Flagg.

One thing I've always wondered about Dee-Jay, was the 1989 Pulverizer supposed to be his vehicle? All the previous BattleForce 2000 characters had their own personal vehicles (sold separately, which always seemed a weird decision to me), so I wonder why on the box art of the Pulverizer (which is blatantly labeled as a Battleforce 2000 vehicle), they had Recoil driving it instead. |

Bellomo implies that Dee-Jay was the very first "peg-warmer" in ARAH history

If Recoil would have had just a better hat than whatever that thing was he may have reached superstardom. Dee-Jay will need a lot more work.
