Half sister. You know I've never paid much attettion to her since she was such a lame figure. But once you included her in your Joeverse Troy I started thinking about adding her to the Joes. But I would pretty much throw out the filecard. |

My version is along the line of Zulus. No relation to the Baroness. Just a good intel agent.

So you've uncovered two Asian Subcontinenters Zulu. Although Dusty doesn't seem Indian to me, based on the Cartoon and his heavy southern Drawl, what's in a name? His mother most likely wasn't Indian, so that leaves his father. In that episode "The Traitor" was his mother sick or something?

One thing that ever so slightly annoyed me was the serious lack of copy editing, though. Bellomo keeps using the word "replete" in place of "complete" (as in "the figure comes replete with such-and-such accessories") when the two words aren't synonyms at all and he uses the grammatically incorrect "comprised of" in place of "composed of." These are the type of things I'd ignore in colloquial conversation or informal correspondence, but in a coffee table book that costs $30 Canadian, I wish a little more care was taken with regards to the copy editing, since these easily corrected grammatical errors making it into publication give the impression of amateurish production values. Yeah, as a kid, I'd always wondered when Hasbro would come out with some incognito Crimson Guards. Last edited by zuludelta; 02-01-2010 at 05:23 PM.. |

Heh. Still doesn't work within the context of his usage though, since he obviously uses the term to denote the "completeness" of a figure's accessories. But it's a minor complaint, really. I figure half of the people reading the book don't even notice it and it's only language nerds, tutors/teachers, and other grammar Nazis who make a big deal out of it

Yeah, as I said, I can see why they didn't. Doesn't stop me from wanting them, though.

I noticed alot of spelling errors and such in Bellomo's book.
Fairly easy to ignore. Yeah, a plainclothes set would be a peg warmer. But still would be cool to have.
