I made my own Hit & Run months ago with the Duke from the Red Star pack. Just painted his face and hands, added some paint to the body, plus web gear and goggles from Firefly.

I'm making Shipwreck a Combatant Craft Crewman. It just seems to make sense with his codename and makes a good role for him. I never liked that DDP just up and made him a SEaL (yeah there was a figure that was a SEaL too) just to be able to make him useful.
What's a good name for a Marine Officer? Marine Officer= Blood Stripe ??? |

Bloodstripe would be a good name for an ex-Marine that joined Cobra.

It can range from the classic and obvious like "Gyrene" or "Semper Fi" or "Jarhead" or "Devil Dog" (I've used a derivative of that for my take on Col. Sharpe, calling him "Hellhound") to something more obscure or creative like "Ripley" (in reference to John Ripley, the first "all-Marine" officer to be inducted into the Ranger Hall of Fame).

Traditionally, the direct action role in USSOCOM was primarily assigned to units like the 75th Ranger Regiment and the various SEAL teams. Their main job was (and continues to be) the utilisation of "conventional" tactical methods (i.e., the use of force) in rapid, short-duration combat applications characterised by an unusual degree of precision violence, in support of longer term and politically guided goals. It's only in the last two-and-a-half decades or so that the Special Forces Groups' direct action capability was expanded (something I don't really agree with, but that's another discussion entirely). "Normal" infantry are nominally termed conventional forces, but they do have an intrinsic direct action capability. From a broad perspective, the primary difference between an elite but "non-special" airborne light infantry unit like the 82nd Airborne Division's 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment and an SOF airborne infantry unit like the 75th Ranger Regiment doesn't so much lie in the range of actions and capabilities available to them, but rather, in the context in which their capabilities are applied. |

Not too much of a stretch at all, but then you're taking one of the few Navy guys.
How about Spearhead; Ambush; Sidetrack; Bazooka; Dodger; Pathfinder; Salvo; Heavy Duty; Wreackage; or even Sabertooth |

Anything that sort of references that, like say, "Warrior One" or "Alpha Dog" |
