Perfectly plausible. Considering the FLAK is indeed both so they already set a precendent for such things. I'm sure a Mauler has shot down a Rattler before in the cartoons, so I guess the joes have the best target acquisition computers on the planet. Seems like Cobra does not, as they can never hit anything.
I wonder how many comics the HAVOC was in. I only remember the SLAM in one comic. I wonder what vehicle saw the most time in the Marvel Run? Awe Striker? WHALE? VAMP? I'd say the Tomahawk. |

I always see it as Anti-Aircraft. It points right to the sky, and it swivels 360 degrees, and it has a aircraft in it's sights on the console. Although did it ever get used besides issue #1 which they used as an Anti-Tank weapon?

I wouldn't be surprised if it showed up in the background of the assault on Springfield, too, but I don't remember for sure.

A laser isn't the best anti-aircraft weapon, but I used the HAL as that anyways.

Just read the GI Joe: Cobra series in trade. Those of you who liked it might want to check out the Sleeper series (available in TPB) from Wildstorm. Similar concept, themes and even art style, but it had a lot longer to breathe, as it was significantly longer, at 24 issues.

I liked Sleeper. That was a good series. Never finished it though, took my break from collecting during the middle of it, will have to go back and finish it.

They've just finished re-releasing the series in two big collections, season one and season two.
Amazon.com: Sleeper: Season One (9781401223601): Ed Brubaker, Sean Phillips: Books Amazon.com: Sleeper Season Two (9781401224936): Ed Brubaker, Sean Phillips: Books Great way to get 'em if you don't have the singles or the original four TPBs.

Sleeper was awesome but it might be handy to read Point Blank first, it sets up alot of cool stuff. Wildstorm have done some pretty cool titles over the years, most of which got canned way too early for various reasons. Sleeper, Stormwatch:Team Achilles etc.
I loved Team Zero and Team 7 as well. Then again, I'm a huge Chuck Dixon mark, even though I don't agree with some of his conservative views.. |

Team Zero and Team 7 were very good. Team Achilles was awesome, even if so short lived. Yeah, definately read Point Blank first and then Sleeper.

The first time the Havoc was introduced was when Cross-Country and Sgt. Slaughter chased after the Dreadnoks in the Thunder Machine. Zarana had tried to pass herself off as Lady Jaye and Cross-Country didn`t believe her.
