oooh that is a great use for a known character. There aren't enough joes with Mustaches, since he looks alot like a Claymore character. Is your Cobra-La the 4000 year old bio-engineer society or something else?

Nah, they're rejected clones and other scientific Dr Mindbender experiments on poor Himilayan villagers using insect DNA. They're the precursors to the later Serpentor and Venom Troops.
They only 'think' their society is older than it actually is because a) well they don't call him 'Mindbender' for nuthin' b) the early samples had 'very' short life spans, due to their insect DNA. What we see as a day, they saw as a lifetime. Eventually this cycle stabilized over time. This also explains why Golobulus and the Cobra LA heirachy believe they have been around for ages whilst all the less hardy 'soldier ant' types passed. I don't use their whole bio technology stuff..I gotta draw the line somewhere Btw, How's Moscow? It's bloody hot in Oz. |

Wishing I could get to OZ from Kansas, no sign of tornadoes today, its frakking cold here 20-40 degrees Fahrenheit.

I'd swap you in a second! I love the cold. I grew up in the Northern Hemisphere (Canada and HK). Moved to Oz to be closer to my Dad's side of the family. Been here for almost 20 years and STILL cannot get used to a hot Christmas.

I really never cared about them too much. So I figured Cobra Commander discovered that all that bio-Armor was still no match for a can of Country Apple Lysol, and thus subjucated the whole populus. I use to use him as the Cobra Chancellor but now I want to go along more with Zulu's take of him as the Mad scientist type. I'm debating using the Rex Lewis figure or the Cobra Commander figure. Can't decide. |

That's basically what I was trying to say, but I think you helped clarify my point, Oliver. Cobra is more of a "rogue nation" like Iran or North Korea, which either passively supports terrorism or actively commits acts of terror as part of it's "foreign policy". On the other hand, MARS is the arms developer and dealer, while the IG's are private troops. They could fight either the Joes or Cobra, depending on where they're working/who's paying their salary. For example, Cobra is in Sierra Gordo, the Joes are in Punta del Mucosa, and the IG's are in another neighboring country. Destro wants to get rich(er), CC wants to rule the world.

Tyroc, I love that take on Cobra La, I'm stealing it. Going to use the RoC CC has the scientist in charge of the experiment. Since he ruined his face in an experiment he feels more at home with the other experiments. I'll work out how they perchieve him in a bit.
I think they'll be part of the Coils or a seperate group, started as an experiment of the Society.

The Beachhead look-alike Rampage or the renamed Heavy Metal?
