Nice team Takedown. Are those the only Joes you have now? It must be somewhat liberating to be able to use everything. Don't get me wrong I love my collection, but I remember the days when I only had Forty joes.
Why is it you don't use Thunderblast as himself? (Which you should still get Oliver) This brings up another question for everyone, what rank does everyone give Trakker? I have him as a GS-13 (Major Equivalent). I use Matt Tracker as sort of like a senior NCO/Warrant Officer because he's a subject area expert in tech. He works in support for computers and some stuff.

I liked the Alpha vehicles alot more then the Bravo.
Was very disappointed in the first 3 Bravo vehicles. Only Alpha I didn't like was the Mole Pod.

I went ahead and laid out my Command Structure if anyone is interested. I've sort of mixed in the Marvel Universe, with SHIELD being that government component propped up by the Billionaires club.
Tony Stark (DTC Bazooka) and Presidential Advisor (Bruce Wayne) are sort of the real world Liasons for the team, and have considerable command of what type of operations are run. If there was a cool Batman figure I might use him. Regardless they aren't my operators. 0-10 Colton (CO) Ben Kenobi Head custom [Colton is in charge of the Airborne Quick Insertion team] 0-9 Keel Haul; [Keel-Haul is in Charge of the Naval Ops and Air Wing and Marine/Jungle Team] 0-9 Gen Sharpe (VvV Gen Abernathy); [Sharpe is in charge of Intelligence and Urban focus of the team which most of SHIELD and Steel Brigade fall under as well as all the R&D and much of the security Joes] I always look at the Garrison Cap and think Marine 0-9 Gen Patton(may change) [Decent figure. I have no good way to explain his inclusion. Serpentor Tech? Captain America tech? He is commander of all Joe Armor and Artillery and most of the Green Shirts. Although he still gets a cool recon team] 0-8 Austin; Hollingsworth; Gen Flagg II; Director Gordon 0-7 Hawk; Rey; Flagg III; Payload 0-6 Eagle(Hawk V1); Braddock; Trautman; Fury; Courage; Trent(From Action Force [V1 Colton]) 0-5 Loose Cannon(Myself as a custom FAC); Magnum(Thanks Oliver/Tyroc); Skystriker; Sure-Fire; Steel Brigade Commander; Jane; Deputy Director Ford(Han Solo figure); Rotor(Helicopter Commander[V3 Backblast]) 0-4 Duke; Claymore; Ace; Dutch; Bullet-Proof; Storm; Barrage; Action Man; Templeton Peck; Trakker; Ghost-Rider; Cockpit(Custom Pilot); Rapid-Fire; Steeler; Doc; Roughshot 0-3 Skydive; Torpedo; Grid-Iron; Falcon; Capt America; Lt. Stone; Skip(Action Force); Countdown(ROC Rollbar); Psyche-Out; Greer; Updraft; Slipstream; Link; Cutter; Devil-Dog(Custom); Windmill; Wash(Custom Pilot); Capt. Dillon (Carl Weathers in Predator, Jungle Ripcord); Emil Blonsky (Hulkbuster) 0-2 Air-Raid; Tanksmasher ; Justice; Thunderwing; Dogfight; Vorona; Super-Trooper; Barrel-Roll; Afterburner(V1 Barrel-Roll); Scattershot; Flush; Blip (Customs) CW-5 Flint; Wet-Down; Wild-Bill CW-3 Scarlett; Chuckles; Hardware (Custom) WO-2 Lady-Jaye; Major Altitude; Lift-Ticket; Spidey; Punisher; Cyclops; Union Jack E-9 Stlaker; Dogface; Gung-Ho; Beachhead; Mercer; Altitude E-8 Slaughter; Doubleblast; Snake-Eyes; Big Brawler; Mojo; Shipwreck; Airwave; Drop-Zone; BA Baracus; Mace; Shimik; John Rambo Ok I'll stop there. |

Nice work, Loose. That's solid work. It's interesting that you're using Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne.

I have him as a GS-13 (Major Equivalent). I bought Thunderblast, for the sole purpose of pre-cobra days Rex Lewis, I felt his vest gear looked Medic looking enough. I feel when I get TRU Doc, He's gonna have a Medic underling. I really dont like Lifeline's scale set to the rest of the JOES. I plan on getting rid of Lifeline when I get some more 25th/ROC JOES, and of course Wild Bill will be the Dragon Hawk version. I need to find a medic sounding codename for Rex. I decided to put 2004 Gung Ho's cap on Rex and it works. I'm Probably gonna buy another TRU Zartan vs Joe set and use Zartan's body and Thunderblast's head keep his vest gear and use 'Repeater's cap'.

Back to the original idea of the thread. 'What secrets lurk in the filecards?'. I put in the disc 2004 Valor vs Venom and HARD DRIVE's file name is in the credit's as Associate Producers 'Martin Pidel'. I wonder who else is in the hasbro/production staff that are "characters and event referenced herein are fictional and are not intended to depict actual characters or events".

Haha, that's awesome. There have been several threads created in honor of this thread, like What secrets lurk in the comics? and What secrets lurk in the dvd commentary?

I'd say maybe 30% of the names are Hasbro employees.
There's a couple, Big Brawler and Surefire (I think), that are named after Fan Club presidents.

The former presidents of the official GI Joe Fan Club also made it into toy form:
Additionally, there are at least two Joes intentionally named after celebrity fans of the toys:
