Are you serious? Your moving to Moscow, Russia? Really? Is your wife in the State Department? Or "Officially" in the State Department? Holy Crap, man. We need to get together for lunch before you leave for sure. When are you going? Will you even be able to be on Hisstank when you're overseas? How long will you be gone?
And I haven't even started learning Russian yet, so I need to get a tutor when I get there. |

Picked up the exclusive TRU troop builders last night. As has been noted here, the fix to make "Repeater" look like classic Repeater is pretty easy, and he looks good. The "Repeater" makes a decent Hardball, too, if you don't mind him in desert camo (I don't). One "Dial Tone" will make a decent desert Helix (may use the regular Helix as "City Strike", now - I figure the hair is a dye job) or a Cover Girl stand-in. The MPs are a disappointment - I hate the arms and hands. Oliver, if you're looking to army build those I may have some extras to trade you.
Duke is the big winner for the Cobra set. |

I did find them in the store - one of the TRUs near me had about 8 of both sets.

I was playing around with some Ripcord in Accelerator suits, swapping heads etc and found that the Beach Head spare head that comes with the comic pack looks kick ass on an Acc suit.
Decided to build a team of them, they'll be a USMC armour-marine unit primarily tasked with being 'Bat Killers' (as previously discussed a few pages back). Speed Metal will be the squad leader and I think I'll have 6 or 8 in the team. Their code names will be based on music styles (we already have Speed Metal/Heavy Metal, Rock n Roll)..they'll also be part of the Joe band, so far I have Bluegrass Aria (female member) Grunge Drum Line Clave or Salsa Zydeco or Bayou (a cousin of Gung Ho..as I intend to use a Gung Ho head) other names I've toyed with.. Crunk Dixie Grind Core Baroque J Pop Swing Beat Thrash Trip Hop Rhapsody Brass Cadence Blue Note Calypso Ragtime I put that extra Beachhead head on a Breaker body I had and called him "Six-Gun" I'm using him as an Ammo Bearer. But he looks pretty weak. I was using the A-Suit Duke as Blocker, and RipCord as Dee-Jay. But I guess I may eventually swap out all my green Shirts with Duke heads, and he will be my default Green Shirt. |

So how does the Footloose head look on the Zartan body? Would it past for Claymore? |

Ahhh! I get so jealous when my brother who lives in Ellicott city finds everything, since he has like 2 TRU 4 Walmarts, 3 Targets, and 2 K-marts within a 30 min radius. I go straight to BBTS mostly, since the TRU suck eggs!
So how does the Footloose head look on the Zartan body? Would it past for Claymore? I think he would work for Claymore with a little paint - Brown hair to Black: Claymore.

It was the Ellicott City TRU I found them at, actually.
Footloose looks okay on the Zartan body - I just hate the arms on the Zartan body. It's not just the MP thing (forget what that's called now), but the hands suck and the elbows have limited turn. I got more than one set so I'd have a Footloose to alter and one to keep pristine - the pristine one would probably double as Claymore, in a pinch, although I'm not super familiar with the character. You might be better off swapping a Mutt head for that.

Keep in mind that the troop builder sale is only on the 25th stuff, not the new ones.

Actually a Mutt head makes a lot of sense. There's a good custom head available from Broken Arrow Toys.
