So based on prior years' experience, how soon do you think this year's non-attending box sets will sell out? I was planning on registering for one when they go live "in a few days." I was debating whether to jump on it the very moment they go on sale or whether I could safely wait until the 31st (payday!) to purchase a set. Thoughts?

I may be wrong, but I believe this is the first time the club has asked the non-attendees to wait. Add to that the vague date of "in a few days" and it's anyone's guess when, or IF we'll get our chance.

I think that you will definitely get a chance to buy a home front hero package. I think the main reason they split it up was that they wanted to cut down on the traffic to their site to try and avoid problems with the registration. My guess is that the home front hero packages will go on sale Monday.
As for waiting until the 31st, it's tough to say. Last year the sets didn't sell out that fast, so waiting would have been ok, but after how high that set has been going for on eBay, my guess is that a lot more speculators will be buying sets this year, so it might go faster. |

This is the first year they split attending and non-attending. Last year was the first year the set sold out before the con. That probably is part of what made them split the 2 up this time around.
