Best Martial Artists (Excluding figures that only appeared in Ninja Force)
1. Snake-Eyes 2. Storm Shadow 3. Flint (Seriously, read his 8" file card... It's not Sigma 6; it says RAH) 4. Claymore 5. Scarlett 6. Torpedo 7. Jinx 8. Tunnel Rat 9. Captain Grid-Iron (Boxing & Judo) 10. Big Brawler 11. Quick-Kick 12. Budo 13. Nunchuck 14. Major Barrage 15. Red Spot 16. Bullhorn 17. Sure-Fire I also feel like Beach-Head should be given honorable mention here. Although hand-to-hand combat is never mentioned in any of his filecards, members of the U.S. Army's Ranger Regiment are trained to a high level of Hand-to-hand combat. They have a whole center for Martial Arts instruction down at Ft. Benning. I feel like Beach-Head, ever the dedicated Ranger, would have rigorously worked to achieve an expert level of proficiency. Similarly, Stalker would have probably done the same thing, especially given his exposure to Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow. Likewise, Gung-Ho and Leatherneck, as Force Recon Marines, would have been required to attain an 'black belt' in the Marine Corps' Martial Arts System - So would all the Navy SEALs. Falcon is an interesting case. It used to be a requirement for every Green Beret that they had to hold a 3rd degree black belt in the Special Forces fighting system. It also says in his file card that he came from "Blue Light" group... That's an early 80's code word for the Army's Delta Force. If Falcon came from Delta Force, then he most assuredly had some high level training requirements for hand-to-hand combat. Because of Duke's list of experiences, he should have had some high level of hand-to-hand training as well... so should all the Airborne Rangers.

Top ten most obscure vehicle drivers (including pilots)
1. Night Vulture (really cool cobra figure mold with a lame vehicle) 2. Steam Roller (Base figure so not that many of him ever made) 3. Updraft (retaliator driver...who remembers this guy?) 4. Nitro-Viper (only joe figure to never get a filecard) 5. Windchill V2 (ugly figure made uglier in the 90's) 6. Sea Slug (figure everyone hated and forgot about) 7. Cold Front (early 90's snow vehicle driver, nuff said.) 8. Ryu v2 grey (dragon fortress operator) 9. Vapor (maybe not so obscure, but not really talked about much) 10. Vypra (Toys r us exclusive, maybe not obscure but not that many people have Vypra) Nitro-Viper only got a filedcard until a collector made one for him that was sanctioned by hasbro.YOJOE.COM | Nitro-Viper Ryu YOJOE.COM | Ryu |

Updraft?
I love Updraft. Funny thing about him: he had a great torso. I've used it for a custom version of Low-Light. but they never used that mold again for anything. Updraft stands alone.

Hey, can anybody think of all the Marines in G.I. Joe? I could only come up with 8.
1. Gung-Ho 2. Leatherneck 3. Mainframe 4. Sgt. Slaughter 5. Mirage 6. Mace 7. Blast-Off 8. Bull Horn Clutch was included as part of the Mega Marines, but Clutch was always in the Army. He was an original member of the team, and it was clearly established that Gung-Ho was the first Marine on the team. Does anyone know of any other Marines? |
